  1. I see what you did there. :)
  2. Uhh...I don't think that was an enemy aircraft! :D
  3. NWS disengage means the wheel is freely moving. Don't do that! :P
  4. IIRC you should only hear it at low speed - IRL, at least... Read something about it a few months ago.
  5. I...I may have overslept. Apologies for not showing up... Don't know if any 99th got on either... :(
  6. Try shooting an AMRAAM at about 12-18nmi from high and fast (25-40 block, M1.2+) - 8-12 from 18-25 block - Anything below 15k, well...Within 8, but you need to know the missile time of flight and endgame speed (speed right before impact, for anyone who doesn't use cool fighter terms)...Also, sometimes, sub-8 mile shots result in lots of missiles flying past your canopy...That's just the way it works atm. 20nmi+ shots would be great, but the FM still needs tweaking. Edit: Against what you're shooting at (AI/non-maneuvering stuff), you can add a few miles to most of those. I'm more PVP oriented...
  7. BFM/ACM is not obsolete - Head-on, neutral merges are.
  8. Skate, spot on! Its in the "dogfighting report" or whatever people want to call it, btw. Don't tell the haters that, though... :)
  9. See edit, put a quote in there. Mainly the "how is that deceleration good" idea. I have a bad habit of not quoting what I'm responding to (usually I edit real quick after posting...)
  10. Its (rapid deceleration) good when your 2k offensive with high AOT/low AON... Its also good when defending. Where it isn't good is in a head-on, neutral merge...Why would a 5th gen VLO fighter walk into one of those?
  11. I think its some Russian laws about classified/restricted material or something, not sure. :(
  12. ^AFAIK, its not the info that is the problem, its permission to make something of said info. Personally, I want a relatively low quality, generic 'modern Flanker', just to represent the overall capabilities of the upgraded ones (be it J-11_, the -27SM, Su-35, etc). For example: put the F-15 cockpit and weapon systems on a Flanker model/PFM, add some weapons. (like PL-9/12, R-77, RVV-SD, certain A/G stores, etc.) That's good enough for my purposes...Although having a bit more detail - Say an SM cockpit/display layout instead of an F-15 pit port - Would be awesome. IDK, I suppose I'm more of a multiplayer guy that'd like a better target to shoot at, all the "switchology" realism stuff isn't my thing. BTW, prepare to be moved to the Russian wishlist. :D
  13. Option 2 for me. I think all of them work for me, but I'd prefer 2.
  14. Yep :D Or go heads-down and look at gauges...That's always fun.
  15. Or just stop your bandit cross check and put your head on the real threat.
  16. Overall Pk amounts are not everything. Here's a good example: You fire 2 missiles at 1 target, say you splash it --> AFAIK, for the bean-counters, that's "one hit, one miss". There're other things too: out of DLZ shots, miscommunication (bad tgt sort = loads of AAMs away), etc.
  17. This...Too true... :megalol:
  18. I'm in! F-15 pls. Thx!
  19. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Thanks!
  20. I think I edited that post too much, I had a point...I think? :( Edited out my retardedness. Anyway, I guess I could simply say that being outnumbered isn't the only thing to look at, its the where and when that I was getting at. Job well done regardless of silly stat stuff!
  21. You and your awesome pictures... :D
  22. Next round, I think bluefor needs better coordination. We've screwed ourselves a lot by either not having one of the following on station at the right time: A) TARCAP. B) OCA Strikers C) Helos. Anyway, here's a useful tool for calculating time to go: http://www.1728.org/velocity.htm
