It's not a proper crash so there is no log, I'm just flying along and suddenly the screen we get between launching a mission and getting into the 3D environment flashes up for like a second, then I'm instantly back into the mission but the flight controls no longer respond, keyboard does, but not any axis command.
  2. Not even funny, this is making DCS not playable at all.
  3. Its antenna is in the stowed position, but is showing up on my RWR (Gazelle) and is detecting me, but on the F7 view its radar is down.
  4. ED really aught to either remove them or give them some basic AI to avoid other sea traffic by a few miles.
  5. The loading screen just randomly flashes up then I get dropped back into the cockpit but without any controls working.

  7. Even if forcing an update via the console, it just launches into DCS, I've replaced the updater .exe aswell incase it got corrupted, still not working.
  8. I would be useful to have the ability to force a take off and landing direction at each airport/airbase regardless of wind.

  10. It would be quite useful to be able to add roads and link them to the ones in DCS. For example if I want to make a chemical weapons or nuclear weapons plant out of mission objects, and place them out in the middle of nowhere, as I would expect such a place to be it kind of looks a bit odd not having any roads leading to it, or around the buildings. But if I could click a start point on the map, say at an existing road and then click a route to the site, and have the ME add a road in there it would look a lot more plausible rather than just some buildings out in the middle of nowhere.

  12. Can't manually update now, it just launches the game, and then immediately CTD's, I can launch the game without trying to update, and that's fine, I've tried a repair, that does nothing.
  13. If I designate a target and tell my wingman to attack it, he does nothing, he responds only to the engage my enemy and engage bandits, but not engage my target, it's quite annoying because it limits your ability to use them.
  14. You do have to retrim for perfect straight and level flight at the moment, but it's only very slight.
  15. Yeah, I'm just asking is that even possible with the Hornet IRL in those conditions. I know it can point its nose up quite high, and fly very slow, but when you come off the end of the deck you're initially in a position that is much more horizontal than that, so I would expect to sink right off the edge and go in the water. If IRL it can't do that then that would indicate an issue with the slow speed flight model.
  16. Yes, but is it realistic in the distance of the catapult, IRL they always use the catapult even if flying totally unarmed.
  17. Can we please have the ability to ask our AI wingmen for fuel and weapons state?
  18. Is it realistic to be able to line up with the catapult and not engage it, and still get airborne? Found out by accident, forgot to press U to hook up to the catapult :D As it is now, if you're light, say 4-5000lb fuel, carrier 30kts into 10kt wind, no weapons, maybe a couple of winders, you can line up, be in position, step on the brakes, and go full AB and get airborne. I know it is good at low speed high AoA, but I find it hard to believe this is realistic, it wasn't like it was even hard to get in the air, barely sunk at all below deck level.

For that to not get seriously annoying we'd have to have a Hornet that handles much better on deck, not shifting around, not suddenly lurching forward when power is applied, but more gradual, and we'd need some feedback like from a deck handler, at the moment none of those things are good enough or exist for it to not be a complete PITA if that was implemented.

Can we have the ability for the host to lock out further people joining a public server either by an in game control, or by the act of starting the mission, so that we can stop people joining creating massive lag and pauses. Sick and tired of getting massive pauses because people are joining well after a mission starts. If they want to join then can sit in the lobby and wait for the next mission to roll around, with a timer to let them know how long it will be so they can choose to wait or not.
  21. I ended up clearing the keybinding and redoing it, fixed it.
  22. Seems to be the keybinding not working, but the switch in the cockpit is.
  23. ... and yes, I know the proceedure and where to place myself, it just will not lower.
