  1. That actually worked. Thank you so much for sharing your solution.
  2. Never touched that on this machine. Currently it's system managed and total paging file size for all drives is 2432 MB. I've set it to your suggestion and I'll report back if it worked. In any case thank you.
  3. Thanks, I know. Just putting my log here in case it could help them.
  4. I've fallen victim to the infamous memory leak ever since update 5. I already did multiple clean up and repairs. 16 GB of RAM and 8 GB of memory on the graphics card fill up to the brim during the load into the pit. I'm able to play 10-15 min before it crashes. Log attached. Logs.zip
  5. First time I entered the key and the next time I clicked skip instead, the logs are named accordingly. Procedure used for the logs: Started DCS Entered FC3 key/Skipped entry Instant Action FC3 SU33 Confirmed working both times Quit -> Close -> Exit logs.zip
  6. Just noticed that it asks for the key everytime you start DCS, that's a tad inconvenient. At least there's the grace period if you've entered the key once.
  7. I got the same pop up asking for authorization. I simply input my FC3 key and I'm able to fly it ingame.
  8. You can get rid of those yourself by putting down a trigger zone on whatever you want removed, creating a trigger with the action "Scenery remove objects zone" and in that action you can select to only remove trees, only objects or everything. This opens up a lot of possibilities for mission making. Hope that helped.
  9. Foreign Object Damage
  10. You have those in every aircraft. You can find, edit and add others under \DCS World\Mods\terrains\Nevada\Kneeboard Same goes for every other terrain. If you want to take the customization of the kneeboard even further have a look at the Kneeboard Builder
  11. DEFAULT terrain object shadows means it'll draw terrain object shadows according to the shadow setting, which in your case is high. I'm not surprised to see a high GPU load in that case, since it has to render high quality shadows for every tree. Furthermore, the level of details for the trees has been greatly improved with 2.5, meaning you have to get really close before the look of the trees stop to improve and effectively lower GPU load as you're zooming further in.
  12. LAlt + Y (Info bar coordinate units toggle). LAlt + Z if you have a QWERTZ keyboard.
  13. Those cinematic camera shots go down through the ground or move from below the ground upwards. [How are those created? Are there any tutorials?] Test range mission (2 & 3): The targets need to be moved out of the forest. Mission 2 is not really affected but mission 3 is impossible. Mission success trigger doesn't fire in multiple missions. Player altitude condition has the wrong value, 15 instead of at least 43 at Sukhumi. Metric used instead of feet? Either me changing the value or simply resaving the mission fixed it.
  14. An activation will be required if the hardware/software changes exceed 12 points as rated below: CPU ID: 13 Windows PID: 3 Computer Name: 3 Hard drive volume serial number: 3 MAC address: 6 RAM amount: 6 Source: ...\DCS World\Doc\DCS World Activation Guide EN.pdf
  15. Should use the same name as in the aircrafts livery folder. The only thing I can think of is that it might be case sensitive, so try "Cockpit_FW190D9".
  16. His TGP is in slaved mode, he can use his TGP to slew the other sensors to that target. If I set my TGP to slave, everything gets screwed up. I can't slew the TGP without it rubberbanding back into its starting position. Even the DMT, or whatever the nosecam is called, I am only able to slew once, though the TGP slews to that position too. As soon as I click TDC down I can't slew it anyfurther without having to undesignate and try again. In the video his TGP even shows STBY underlined at some point, yet he still has a picture. Since this is an early access aircraft and the TGP section of the pocket guide is completely blank, I don't expect this to work right now and wouldn't spend to much time on this subject. *EDIT* If I recall correctly, it was mentioned somewhere on the forum that they got access to DCS 2.3, which is a Dev-build, to make these videos.
  17. You can't at the moment. The TGP is not fully integrated, yet.
  18. MPCD: Menu, TPOD, STBY, SLEW, put the target in the box on the HUD, TDC slew in any direction to ground stabilize the TPOD. Note that the TPOD is not fully integrated and the symbolics of the TPOD can clash with symbolics of other systems.
  19. Only thing I could think of is that your pod might be slaved to another system. Check the bottom row of the TPOD and deselect "slave", by selecting any other mode, either AR/PT, INR or LSS.
  20. Press the OSB Button labeled "TDC" on the right side of the TGP page, it needs to be underlined, after that you can slew it using the TDC controls.
  21. I had the same issue, I disabled the RAE - RWR AUDIO EXPANSION mod and after that everything worked fine. If you're not running the mod and have this issue, I'd suggest deleting the sounds folder and repairing DCS.
