    Just watched the track back and DCS reports 19G for first pull and 13G at which the wings snapped, from F2 view stats. Seems very hardy...

    Managed to hit 18G!!! Wings stayed on, but second pull wing came off at just over 1G!

    Hi, i have been playing around with the pitch dampener, or lack thereof! I can hit 13g instantaneous turn without it! In RL would this pull the wings off? In the sim there seems to be no negative effect, obviously there would need to be serious maintenance once the plan was back on the ground. But it flies exactly as it did before the turn. :pilotfly:

  9. I think it advises you switch to another tacan, can't remember which one, you then switch back to let until you get up to tonopath tacan.

  11. ive just noticed this happening to me too, my GPU isnt utilized properly until i alt enter. which is having a knock on effect on fps...
  12. Doesn't the module naming imply level of FM? Like hawk and c101 not being "DCS:Hawk" or "DCS:C101" and being "Hawk for DCS" instead etc?
  13. Can you even gloc from negative g? Surely red out but not black out...
  14. i use it for really hard defensive breaks turns, but its a nightmare to handle the thing and i would imagine in reality it would over g the frame and effectively render the plane useless until after considerable maintenance. but it can really force an overshoot if used well.

  17. Do the training missions in 1.5 absolutely golden and really helped me. I also raise the seat up on landing to her a better view when the AOA rises. Also trim is your friend, I find I need to trim loads when the gear goes down. Also make sure your dampeners are engaged, helps keep the plane smooth in all phases of flight
  18. Sweet, I'm trying to get a guns kill on the first circle head on pass. I've also have had some luck with flat scissors but it's tight and often he gets me before I can get behind him. Or I lose him, I'm still using the hat on my joystick to look around lol but I'm getting close to getting them!
  19. Anyone managed to get a handle on the M2000, I'm getting nailed constantly by them! They just turn to fast and regain energy so easy. The best I've done is almost reverse an overshoot with a barrel roll but I missed the shot and he went full AB and I lost him!

  21. As above please, this might already be possible but I can't figure it out. It's a ball ache creating my own DACT missions for dog fighting practice if I want to fly USA aircraft against USA aircraft.
  22. It shouldn't trigger the radio on the ground, only in the air. I find it quite frustrating actually as I would like to use it on the ground as well. It would save me mapping the mic to another button!
  23. Such a great video, I just can not seem to retain energy when turning with the F5, I might be turning to hard but I can not beat even the F14s! They can regain energy much easier than I can :mad:
  24. Ideal, makes sense. I forget in a sim if you run out of fuel its not really a big deal, not so in RL :cry:
  25. Yeah I've found that if you disengage the minute they go full burn they turn back and engage. But still time is tight. Is it the same in RL? The five mins limit?
