  1. So.. Heli-Cargo wird beim naechsten Neustart (in ca. 7 Minuten) wieder dabei sein. Im Briefing stehen die Positionen.
  2. Wir mussten auf dem VA Server die Heli-Cargos vorerst deaktivieren da die zu Abstuerzen des Servers gefuehrt hatten. Eventuell ist der Fehler schon behoben, daher werde ich die mal wieder testweise in die Mission reinnehmen. In naechster Zeit kommen dazu auch noch neue Heli-Missionen für den VA Server, hab da so ein bisschen was in Arbeit. :)

  4. Sorry, I just had the feeling ZHeN had been attacked for complaining about a bug.. the way it had been said to him seemed a little overly aggressive to me, but that may have been just my view. You may want to try it a little slower and not pull too hard if it breaks apart. I was able to replicate it earlier.
  5. Nonetheless this is a bug. It does not work as intended - you may not know how it works in real life but I can assure you that this is not how a plane flies, ever, at least not without TVC. Maybe it'd be better to post it in the bugs forum but overall it's pretty clear something weird is going on, so I deem it reasonable to be adressed by the players. It's no show-stopper by any means but it's still a bug.
  6. I believe there is a chance of it being like that when you place it as a static object. At least I know this is the case for the MiG-21, so you might give it a shot.

  8. I had to take down the server for a small unscheduled maintenance earlier today because we were experiencing a technical issue on our side. This has been resolved now and everything is up and running again. Sorry for any inconveniences caused by this.
  9. Realistically seen, the wingtip pylons on the F-5E have no fuel transfer capabilities. Please correct me in case I'm wrong here. Guess that would go against realism a little, as much as I'd like to have them too. Would be out of place in a simulator. :/ What we need is more F-5 variants. :p
  10. They're flying the F-5A which has wingtip tanks, we've got the F-5E which doesn't have them. To my knowledge the wingtip pylons on the -E are limited to weapons only.

  14. It seems like there still didn't happen anything related to the pitch ladder since the plane has been released.. is this going to be resolved at some point? Genuinely wondering here. It's not an immensely big deal but it still feels really weird. Especially weird that we are not hearing anything about it.. :/

  16. I think a direct link to the video doesn't work since it's a temporary one. The URL (*cdn) suggests that. You could try to post the source itself instead of a direct video link.
  17. To change the RU Abris to EN, change avionics language in DCS settings to English. To add additional inputs, modify the input profiles in C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input. Won't cause any IC issues.
  18. It's not possible to circumvent the checks at this moment, as long as the server has the IC enabled. Yeah, if you could simply do that, it would make the IC rather useless.
  19. The public server has been updated to 1.5.4 and the Nevada server is back in place now. Enjoy!
  20. That's pretty much as if you were comparing an apple with a banana. It all boils down to what you want to do and which you like more, I'd guess.
  21. No issues with trimming here. Take a look at your settings to see whether the FFB option is checked.. this could be the cause.
  22. So I just re-checked everything. You appear to be the only one having this issue at the moment but still I'm trying to see and reproduce it. I checked the mission file and our DCS options. DCS is set to (almost) default settings, also none of the view settings are stored anywhere in the mission. The server has 3D rendering disabled and is running on a dedicated machine so there has never been any need to change camera settings, so we never did that. Does your friend experience the same issue on our server? If not, please try clearing your DCS settings (you should backup your input profiles beforehand) and see if anything got better. Also, hold out for the update that is supposed to come out today. In case DCS receives it's planned update, we will update our stable server to 1.5.4. I'd guess some issues should already be fixed by then. The current 1.5.4 server is just for testing at this moment and it'll get set back to Nevada once we got 1.5.4 running on stable. Edit: it appears only the open beta has received an update today.   23. This is a pretty weird issue. I know servers enforce some view settings like FOV but I've never heard about this one. Which server did you connect to, the 1.5.3 or 1.5.4 one? Took a look at the view settings but it all seems to be good. Also, a track file could help me out to figure the problem.
  24. *cough* I once used the follow route AP to let it land my plane.. was oscillating like crazy but touched down without breaking anything! I'd say that counts as landing AP? hehe
  25. I attached a JSGME-compatible version with a few more changes so AC can also be set to uncontrolled when spawned on the ground.
