Simple Radio only takes audio inputs for input, you can install virtual audio cable then play your music with whatever you like with the virtual audio cable as output and select the virtual audio cable for input in Simple Radio.

Thanks, will take a minute to fix? :) Different chapter perhaps but the hidden flag for dynamicly spawned units/statics also never worked properly in the mission. Maybe that could be checked as well.

I'm pretty sure we were able to place statics on the map, make them hidden, then they wouldn't show up in the ME but also not on the map in the mission. They're visible now on the map.

It's no biggy and not considered a bug but could we have controls for gear up and gear down too? Not just toggle gear up/down.

Check the included readme, should be possible if you do a manual install.

What are the issues with Simple Radio?

Not sure if you can, never tried it and i doubt it was designed for that but Ciribob can tell you of course. Maybe you can configure both servers to use SR and fire up the SR server, see what happens.

If you got tacview installed, try disabling the local recording and try again to check if tacview is the problem.

Don't know what your setup is but you can define a port for the SR server in the DCS-SRS-AutoConnectGameGUI.lua file (check the comments).

Of course, but you can't say it's winter so there's snow. We had the option to set the season to fall for example when you didn't want snow in your winter mission. Assuming the temperature has been too high for too long.

That's not the point, there's snow when you set the temperature to 20 degrees for example... kinda unrealistic.

Before 1.5 was released we had the option to change the season separately from the date, this was actually a good thing i think. Even in winter the temperatures in Georgia can easily hit 10 or even close to 20 degrees celsius. The next samples show the 'problem' with temperature, season and how the terrain looks like. Maybe the separate season option wasn't so bad after all.

You need to have the client running before entering an aircraft, doesn't matter if you start SR or DCS first. If you configured it properly it ought to work.

Actually, he has a point.. just not the right images.. Sun is behind the mountains, you shouldn't see the reflections in the water: Passes through the mountains AND the Vinson: Wouldn't call it a biggy but could be done better :)

Is your gaming PC on the same IP range as the server (same router/subnet)? Do you use the windows firewall (is it enabled) or a 3rd party?

Do you have some custom affinity management active? (or is it default for Intel) I think, or am pretty sure, DCS checks another process to find out how many cores/threads are available. If that process has the affinity set to 1 core/thread you end up having your issues i guess.

Got the same setup, no problems here. If you want to see the server in the list locally you should use the default port for the server. When i start a 2nd server, on a non-default port, i don't see it listed either. Thusfar i've had 1 timeout locally, otherwise it works fine.

SSDs will last for like 70 years of usage, nobody will be using the ones in use today in 70 years anymore.. for sure :P
