  2. I'm cheering again! Hey you wont believe this one but this morning the guy in the shop totally replaced the whole Throttle unit for me and that's the second time they've split up a box set, Stick being back in June. Anyway I'm very happy and he checked all the buttons and switches for me and everything is working A OK. It concerns me because this is the second fault with both units since was bought in Feb. I'll fire off an email to Thrustmaster and ask if they provide any extension paid warranties, see what they say. Hope no more button or switch problems but all good now though.
  3. Yea was a relief and thankyou again amigo. She's still goin back tho, I need that little red left thrott button workin, that was in the perfect pos for a pinky TIR pause, atm I'm trying right fuel flow switch as a stand in as I can kinda flick it ok when throttle is full. I tried the pinky switch but that buggered up my taxi lights. Wonder what everyone else uses? I like having left hand on the throttle when I engage it, only had my TIR for a month or so and now I couldn't fly without it, I think it's pretty awesome.
  4. Eureka found my curser again! Hey I was just tinkering around with Win calibrate and it worked! Happy days, I'm dancing! curser stays put. Fingers crossed it stays that way. Sorry I should've tried that before I posted heh
  5. Thanks mj, appreciate that. Kinda not the answer I enjoyed but hey what can you do huh? I've only had my TM WH T and S for about 9 or 10 mths and I really enjoy it, luv it actually and phew still under warranty. Also now I noticed tonight the left throttle button is playing up which is why I had to remapped my TIR pause. And aft 3 mths the hat top switch stopped making contact in one of the views. The guy in the shop totally replaced the whole Stick incl the base which was nice of him cause they only sell as a two piece boxed set. I asked him why and he said TM don't replace they just refund him. Oh well I'm lucky the shop is only around the corner from me but it makes me a little worried now of what's to come.. after warranty expires, yikes!
  6. Hey good Pilots and a very Merry and safe Christmas to you all Hey I just noticed my curser in my TAD went bananas, like I've never seen this before. I had to remap my pause for my TIR and that was all ok (Tab key) but now my HOTAS Slew Horiz/Vert curser in TAD now runs away like crazy towards the top and edge of the screen and only when I hit , . / or ; it stops and is able to be slewed by those keys but soon as I touch that little button to centre view whilst TAD is SOI, the curser goes crazy again. Not sure what I've done and it's kinda freakin me out, anyone had this dilemma before? Cheers G Oh yea and it happens in 1.5 and 2.1 so I guess it's settings or hardware related perhaps?

Now re-ticked Oh and I've been using my F10 Map a lot lately and scrolling zoom to targets Lat/Long plotting them into my CDU and it's actually been working really well and more accurate than my F7 key and plotting those co-ords, less TGP searching I find.   9. Hey good Pilots, hope all is well. This is prob a really dumb question but I'm not able to find in my manual what the function of the F10 User Marks is. In the manual one of the points under F10 View Options has been omitted and is that because it doesn't do anything or what's the story, any ideas anyone? Cheers G

  11. Thanks brother, I appreciate your replies, that’s kind of you. I’ll take a pass on that tho as MP not my bag, I only like SP, campaigns, missions and stuff. And I’m not understanding why there is no freq for locations like that and I’ve just noticed there is a few. So, what do I do if I wish a Start Up, Taxi, Departure or an Inbound to one of those AFBs? :huh:
  12. Hey thanks gospadin, I appreciate that man but excuse my ignorance with this but where is this ciribob’s DCS-SimplRadio? Is it a Mod that will add Mesquite or any other of those locations that are not available to my Radio menu option? And btw I saw your kneeboard Nav and I’ll be adding that ASAP, it looks great! :thumbup:
  13. Hey good Pilots, I made up a quick mission and was starting it from Mesquite AFB which pleasantly surprised me because it looks really cool but when I checked for any radio freq I couldn't find anything. And the Briefing or F10 map doesn't show anything either, any ideas anyone?

  15. Hey good Pilots, I’m hoping that in future campaigns we can get to do some different tasks in our missions and diverse from the usual ground Targets. Wouldn’t it be great to take out an enemy’s airfield or a huge munitions dump or even a building where high value terrorists targets are meeting, yea I know there are a few but really not enough and I think imaginative and even curve ball missions are important because they keep the player engaged and interested. Like some of those missions from The Enemy Within and Stone Shield which were awesome cause they offered the Pilot something different from the norm. What about this.. you have to stop a train laden with weapons before it reaches its destination and including your Ramp Start your on the clock and time is ticking and that train is getting away, you gotta get up there, locate it and MAV that sucker soon! Anyway just a thought, anyone else have any ideas? I hope missions like that could come to fruition sometime. I reckon it would be fun.   17. CCRP mode Ok thanks mvsgas, I appreciate that. Now the penny drops. I just realised after nearly a year I’ve been doing this all arse about and it’s a legacy mistake perpetuated from 1.5. I prefer my CBUs between 900 and 1200 HOF so when I set that or any other weapons function like ripple or single whatever I’m forgetting to do one important thing and correct if I’m wrong, which is creating a new weapons profile and then saving it. No wonder it wouldn’t stay in CCRP mode because that is the “default setting”. The mode of release does eventually change after a few goes at it or once I’m in the air but that whole setting up process in creating a new weapons profile is what I’m missing, man whatta clutz. Oh well, that’s half the fun of the A-10C and why I still love flying it above anything else, learning stuff as well as blowin #@%*! up. Now I just need to learn a nice quick system in creating and saving my own weapons profile and I’m totally rereading the DSMS section in the FM. Thanks big time for the tip mate, much appreciated guidance. :book::doh::thumbup:
  18. CCRP mode dilema Hey I thank you for your reply mvsgas and I’m sorry if I didn’t explain it correctly but I’m not sure you understand my problem entirely. I’m talking about CCRP mode staying as such whilst navigating the different pages I mentioned using my OSBs. Why would I be using my DMS to set up a mode of delivery whilst on the ground in Ramp Start procedure? I don’t understand and also the SAVE profile is showing up and is able to be used, which is my point.. after I save in CCRP then switch pages it reverts back to CCIP? :noexpression:
  19. Hey good Pilots I've been having this issue for a long time now, even before 2.1 came on the scene. I find that when I'm setting up my DSMS weapons profile, ie my CBU-97 and GBU-12 and changing it from CCIP to CCRP. I find myself having to repeat the steps at least 2 or 3 times until the CCRP option stays in place. What I'm trying to say is.. the CCRP mode doesn't stay as CCRP when I switch between my Profile page / Profile Main page and DSMS page. It keeps reverting back to the CCIP mode and yes I'm pressing the SAVE OSB after setting to CCRP each time, so I can't work it out and like I said it takes a few goes flicking between screens until it stays. This is a little frustrating and actually starting to freak me out as it chews up valuable time within my Ramp Start. I checked my Flight Manual and I'm following the setup ok, so I'm wondering what am I doing wrong here? The exact same issue happens in 1.5. Any ideas anyone? Suggestions or comments would be much appreciated. Cheers G

  25. Hey good Pilots! I searched for a thread answer to this but couldn't find it. I just spent an hour of unsuccessfully trying to find where to put my Cockpit Checklist for various stuff into my A-10C Kneeboard in 2.1. It's drivin me bonkers. I'm good with the pixel size and all that and I had a few of them I added ages ago in 1.5 but having trouble this time round in 2.1 finding the location. Any ideas anyone? Regards G
