  1. We have a few cosmetic changes in the open beta update. I'm curious of the "new instrument animation process", does that mean that the switches will "move" to position (like in the F/A-18C) and not "snap" like it is currently ? Thanks for the heads-up on what you are working on. When and if you have time, could you tell us how the updated systems will work ?
  2. I see NVG on the list of systems, does it means that NVGs will be added to the M-2000C ? I thought that the C didn't receive the upgrade to be able to use them. Anyway, I can't wait to test the updates :).
  3. That's what I understood, thanks for the info.
  4. Thanks for the answers . Did you found the VTH PRED/CCLT switch functionality and do you plan to implement it ? Not system wise, do you plan to update the engine and start-up sound ? The sound themselves are good but the timing/loop is not great. And add some other sounds like battery buzz or INS spinning if it is realistic ? These questions must be exhausting to answer, thanks for you time :D.
  5. Could you be a little more specific ? Are you talking about the automatic waypoint switching button ? And what about the RDO and DO :smartass: ?
  6. Hey don't be so rude !! We have another whole month before we must take it to port ;).
  7. It has been at sea for two months now after a mid life upgrade, I don't get what you are trying to say :).
  8. That's interesting thanks :). Do you know how you would enter this mode ? Using the MAG PCA button ? And what would MAV stands for ?
  9. Is that what you wanted to say ? IIRC the RDY radar was only put on the 2000-5 and the mirage got first the RDM and later the RDI (the one we have). I have a quick question : Will you include the real RDO function on the mirage ? What about the DO function with the TEL IDN mode ?
  10. Thanks :).
  11. That's very nice to hear, do you have an idea when we will see the first system updates ?
  12. If you didn't do the prior engine start check list it's normal. In the Harrier the engine start button moves the throttle to ground idle IIRC.
  13. Sorry that douche answered you first, he is the reason why humanity is doomed . For your auto-start problem I didn't fly the harrier in a long time so I can't really help you BUT I have a few suggestions that you can try :) : - You wrote about "pump out to defuel", can you try to do the auto-start without doing that ? Maybe this action is messing with the auto-start sequence. - You said you used "RSHIFT-Home" to start the auto-start sequence, IIRC it's not the default keybind for this action. You can check what the correct binding is in the control menu under the "cheat" category I think. You can tell if the auto-start is running by the white text in the top right, if nothing appears, you have the wrong key-bind. And auto-start is not for noobs, you fly the sim as you wish and no one can tell you otherwise :).
  14. I don't know why or how but I have a big interest for this aircraft. Also, it would fit the Caucasus map very well because the aircraft-carrier/missile-cruiser Kiev was based in Crimea and the Yak-38 was designed to operate from this class of ship. And the ship is a gorgeous cold war contraption :D
  15. And ? You know it now, everybody knows it. What can we do about it ? What can the devs do about it (except cutting communication to almost zero) ? Why don't you take planned release dates as what they are, planned released date, and not definitive release date. I think most of us don't take a release date for granted except when it is written "The *new module* will lunch the xx/xx/xxxx" on the DCS shop.
  16. What Jojo said :). IIRC in the mirage you don't want to use your rudder in normal flight conditions other that landing.
  17. Do you have any cockpit mod installed ? A screenshot would help to see the problem.
  18. That's only for the jammer, the square position is for jammer HOTAS activation.
  19. FTFY :). I think I read somewhere the the missile body, fins and motor have been especially developed to be efficient at high alt and speeds, that's why it would have sub-par performances at low alt.
  20. ED pushed the wrong branch IIRC, not RB fault. Even, problems are expected to happen sometimes on the beta branch, that's why it's here.
  21. You are doing something wrong I have a PK of around 40-60% when flying online and shooting around max range.
  22. There is something wrong on your end, I have no problem cranking aggressively up to 60°
  23. You can do a VAD (Vecteur ADditionel - Tacan offset) with the VAD, rho and theta position of your IDN (Indicateur De Navigation - navigation indicator ; not quite like a HSI as you have seen). It's just like an offset, you input azimut and range from the tacan and the IDN will fly you to it. You can look it up in the manual I think.
  24. That's okay, I was expecting this answer ;). But I had to try :D. I hope to see your work on the upcoming bug tracker soon :).
