  1. No, I did not explain correctly. The contacts are shown for the the absolute duration of one search pattern, I think a search pattern in 4bar/60° lasts 4.8 seconds, this means that the contact will be displayed for precisely 4.8 seconds.
  2. From what I know, the contacts are displayed for exactly one pattern duration. I'm not sure if a memory function exists yet, I'll ask :).
  3. The AA gun line is correct as is. It's not the same system as the F-18C.
  4. As said above, this is correct behavior. Moving to resolved.
  5. You should really not use speed as it change greatly depending on your weight... Use only AoA as reference.
  6. Yes, as said above: - ILS - DEST BUT with CP/PD set - APP mode on the PCA - QFE set on the altimeter
  7. I need you guys to be a little more precise that that .
  8. You are correct Ramsay. The new radar system will be very detailed and realistic. In 4 bar and 2 bar search the bars overlap each others, meaning that a single aircraft can be displayed as two contact. If can even be 3 contacts if it's a very big aircraft very close, this is due to the radar beam being 3° for the high energy zone, but the low energy zone is bigger than that. The IFF returns comes from a secondary IFF antenna that is on the main antenna, meaning it has the same orientation as the radar at all time. The IFF antenna aperture is around 10°, this means that at any time the IFF antenna has the whole scan area in its field of view. So one friendly can give up to 4 IFF contact. SME said that the 4bar/60° picture with the RDI was hard to read and that the WIP shots were close to the real radar. Edit: IIRC the display limit is 16 contacts per bar, so 64 in 4 bar search.
  9. Can we not pollute bug reports with this kind of talks please ? This is not how stuff gets fixed faster... We will review this report when we have the time.

  11. @milky991 Can you confirm the low RPM was your issue ?
  12. Hi, as said above, could you tests this issue after the next Harrier update ? Thanks
  13. Are you talking about the Air-to-Air gun mode or the Air-to-Ground gun mode ? Can you provide a track showing the issue ?

  16. We plan on a big overhaul of the cockpit sound after more important update are out of the way. This will be resolved at that time. Moving this to resolved with [FUTURE UPDATE] in the mean time :).
  17. Thanks guys, moving this to resolved.
  18. As said above this is not a bug. Moving to resolved.

  20. I still don't understand you issue.... Can you upload a track ?
  21. Yes, ED did not release any 3rd party change in the last update. We don't control when ED is pushing our changes into the OB. The change should come out in the next 3rd party update :).
