  1. Miles: I need to buy one of your pots replacement for my TM Throttle... Entire throttle works but for the throttle movement... got to be the cheap TM pots... I have three sets of TM COUGARS... my main one is with your devices for the pots:<) Roland
  2. Monster TEch Slick: Good idea. I had all ready made side mounts for the TM HOTAS... but can not seem to find the time to construct the side panels (attach to the arms of chair) to which the side mounts would attach by bolts. I work out 5 or 6 days a week........... got to as I am feeling my age (67) put on 10 pounds of muscle and put back the 11 I had lost...... oh well. A lot of pain ......... by end of the day cuts my useful time down :<) The monster tech mounts are incredibly well made. I think I will list on ebay this week. Roland
  3. Gents: I am unable to use the mounts as I must tilt my chair back to take the weight off my lower back... when I am playing flight sims.... They are set up for my TM HOTS Cougar. These gents made high quality products. I would want $175.00 in US dollars plus shipping only within lower 48 state of U.S.A. You can pay by pay-pal. I AM still listing the TM HOTAS COUGAR in box for several more days before I list on EBay. let me know.... Roland
  4. TM HOTAS COUGAR If u r asking me... yes I do have the system in original box... I still need to test to determine if it has been flashed with firmware ........ If interested let me know asp.. Roland
  5. Monster Tech mounts Gents: I like them. Because of my lower back I am unable to sit straight up. I therefore can not use them. I am going to sell my monster tech set for the Hotas Cougar. I am rebuilding my side arm mounts for my office chair..I started but the hurricane had different plans.... the side arm mounts allows me to lean back .. the arms, back of the chair and the seat tilt back together....... I have been to busy correcting the corrosion of my bolt mounts on my storm shutters........ this project and grinding the uneven concrete brick exterior window sill will take another week .... weather permitting. Once all is corrected putting down my hurricane shutters should take no more than 3 hours for entire house....another 2 hours for the hurricane fabric on the garage door and sliding doors in patio:<) beats 2 damned days...:<! Roland
  6. Do you know how to properly set up the TQS throttle control... in increments as u move forward and back? ROland
  7. TM TQS board Gents: First of all... you all are incredible:<) The hobby has come a long way. I purchased a third TM COUGAR HOTAS. It was boxed improperly by the seller and the stock gimbals broke in three parts. I fixed that with Ian Johnson's metal gimbals and Hall sensors... Now the TQS is not working ... ( I need to replace my old vid card in my Win XP system.. yes kept so I could install firmware in TM gear)... if it is the board ., is there a way to by-pass the board and get the buttons, switches and throttle to be recognized? My other Cougar has Mile's magnetic sensors and that works well. I have a another Cougar set I am selling as with the advent of the 3d printing ... parts should not be a problem. I have to test it again to make sure the firmware is properly installed and everything works. Once I do that ......... anyone have an interest in buying the Cougar (in original box and Styrofoam) let me know....... I have no clue how to implement your devices:<) some of you could upgrade the Cougars to a new level:<) Is there a way a new board could replace the boards in .. say a TM Cougar TQS . .... without the soldering etc......... works right out of the box? suggestion on 3d Printing: new metal gimbals for TM Cougar stick........ keeping same design as possible to allow Mile's magnetic sensors to be used... best of all worlds:<) Roland
  8. Gents: I have not programed my TM HOTAS Cougar in a long... long while. How do you set up the TQS throttle in DCS? Is it a repetition of a key stroke ? Could you give an example? Roland
  9. Gents: Can this be used with a thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS? I have Ian Johnson's metal gimbals so I do not need to worry about snapping the old TM stock gimbals. Roland
  10. sale of TM Cougar gear Gents: I have three TM Cougar Hota sets....... selling one. I was saving for parts but I have two others. I offer for sale at $275.00 shipped within the lower 48 states...by UPS. The price includes shipping. It is in damned nice shape with original box. I need to check it again on my win 10 sys to make sure the units are flashed the firmware. Payment by PayPal. I have a 30" Dell monitor 2560 x 1600 for sale. Original price was $1,200.00. I would like $550.00 which includes shipping to within the lower 48 states. I sold the Gladiator Pro stick..... I liked my TM Cougar better........ used to it. Roland N. Cataldo
  11. Luke: Do u ship to the USA? and.. how much to ship to USA... Sunny... no that is no longer true...... wet, constantly raining South FLorida:<) Roland
  12. RM Cougar Hotas for sale Gents: I have three Cougars. I have a VKB Gladiator Pro. I was going to use the VKB for WWII sims but I like my Cougars. So, I am selling the Gladiator Pro and one of the Cougars. Both have the original boxes. The TM Cougar Hotas is stock gimbals, etc. ( I have two I am not selling.. one with Ian Johnson's gimbals and the 2nd with Mile's hall type magnetic sensors......... The Cougar (with TQS) I would take $300.00 which includes shipping to somewhere within the continental US. I will accept $235.00 for the Gladiator Pro which also includes shipping like above. I have for sale a 30" monitor .. Dell 2560 by 1600. I do not need it as I prefer the 24" (space concerns) If you are interested let me know.... we can discuss method of payment. We can use my Legal trust account to hold or wire funds into upon payment by your bank......... I ship the product. Roland
  13. Thank you for response. I watched the video... Excellent design and workmanship. It appears the chair back is capable of tilting back? If I do not move forward and complete my mounting system for my office chair ..... I believe I could make wood angle spacers for the HOTAS mount top plates allowing the tilt back towards the user....without taking the side mounts out of straight up position and attachment.... if I must tilt the back of the chair. Do you have any plans to offer the rudder mounting system ( rudder mount, bottom parallel bars both below the rudder mounting and back to under the chair? ....With your Rudder mounting system and the side HOTAS and side table mounts without the chair and chair mounts....... Why... I would prefer using my office chair with your system without your chair.... :<) I had to work on my Cougar Stick and complete the installation of Ian Johnson's gimbals and new Midori Hall sensors including soldering.... I sat too long......in a straight back chair and could not work out ... as my low back was in a great deal of pain:<( I am going to c if I can locate your Monitor mounting system...... I would probably purchase a 30" to 34" gaming monitor for it... Excellent work and craftsman:<) Roland
  14. Rig new Meisterolsen: I like what u r doing. I have not started my mod of my office chair... I have been working out, rebuilding two sets of Cougars...... one with Miles' sensors... excellent and one with Ian Johnson's gimbals UB2NXT...... excellent........ You had asked me to send you photos when I completed my rig. Well u will be finished long b4 I get mine started... I like your idea. I would add one capability. My office chair tilts back both the back of the chair and the seat.... making it easier on my low back. Your mounts are rigid at 90degree angle. Is it possible to add mounts to the vertical columns which would allow tilting the stick or tqs platform down or for that matter up ..... out of parallel to ground? Ok.. two suggestions....... make the side tables or arm rests...... wider to allow placement of a mouse pad on right side and the keyboard on left? OK three.:<) Secured to the mounting rig is a monitor stand for up to a "40" monitor which said stand would allow the user not only to raise and lower the monitor but to allow user to angle the monitor downward to align with my tilted chair.......... THe monitor stand could be an upgrade and should also be capable of standing alone....... I like your rudder platform as well. If you like these ideas feel free to use them. Also..... you could also design a cheaper system by not using the same mounting system you are showing but instead use steel or heavy gauge aluminum rectangular mounting rails ....... you could predrill the rails to allow easy and secure assembly of the mount tqs mounts and stick mounts as well as the rudder stand......... If you do this ....... I do not have to build my own:<) Yes I am lazy.... and my health sucks:<) I just had to take 800mg Ibuprofen for pain and auto immune disorder...........now I have to lay down again until it kicks in....... :<) Good to be healthy... as long as I can body build I am satisfied:<) Roland
  15. printed parts Debolestis: THis is indeed great news for TM Cougar etc owners. All we need now is someone to find sources for the internal electronic parts........ Roland
  16. Potmeters Sir: I have two sets for the Cougar stick and one set for the TQS. I removed them to install Miles' magnetic sensors in one stick and one to install the UB2NXT by Ian Johnson out of Australia . Go with Miles' items they are worth the price. Roland
  17. Hello Miles: I just need the connector with the sensor... I do not need the magnet unit that goes on the tqs shaft. I am sorry for delay in responding. Roland Roland
  18. Monster tech mounts GEnts: I have a set and I think they are solidly built I am rebuilding my office chair to accommodate a side mount of these mounts. The chair is an executive chair.. cloth... but the perfect thing about it is when you tilt the back of the chair back the seat tilts with it.......... easier on my lower back. I am rebuilding the sides of the chairs to accept plywood sides to which they will be securely fastened to the arms of the chair. And, the Monster tech mounts to the sides.......(I will change the lower plate alignment to allow side mounting.) .. I am going to have to remove the pressure apparatus and drill two holes in the mounts through the plywood sides...... I am also rebuilding my "baby chair" removable food tray to allow placement of the key board........ I was to have finished this 2 weeks ago... but my workouts etc are eating up my time.. This is a redesign of similar chair mounting I had on an old office chair which I sold 8 years ago. Roland
  19. new stick Sokol1_br: Is that a TM Cougar stick on it? I now have three Cougars. One with Mile's magnetic setup, and a second with Ian's UB2Nxt gimbals with Hall sensors..... in the stick. I still need to purchase and install Mile's magnetic sensor in the TQS... I was going to keep the third COugar.... still in the box... but I think I will sell to someone who can use it and does not want to spend a lot for the Warthog... or European Stick... and still have to buy a tqs. If you know anyone who wants the Cougar let me know...... I will sell for $250.00 plus shipping. Roland
  20. Miles: I just want to remind you I need a replacement sensor for the TQS.... let me know what you need? Roland
  21. THank u for info... I am not going to update the throttle to Hall...... I will get another great set of Mile's sensors........ Roland
  22. Gents: look at the pcb. the three pin connectors are clearly marked pins 1, 2 and 3. existing wiring colors Joystick Hall sensors 1 Brown to ------------ Red (+) Hall sensor 2 Red -----to ----------White (output) Hall Sensor 3 Orange --------to ----Black (-ground) Hall sensor I am going over to Ian's web page for detailed instructions. Roland /CyStryker
  23. Gents: My main system is unable to log onto many sites including news, gaming, flight sims, etc. I am able to log onto some sites. Anyone can give me an idea why> I have Windows 1o, Intel 4770K, 32 gigs memory, I am using IE to surf the net. I tried using several programs to remove adware........ ended up unable to get online for a while........ example. Trying to log onto the Drudge Report. unable to........running windows diagnostic ...... shows the site is there but unable to log on. Any help would be appreciated. I am using now... my slow.... slw .......laptop. Roland / CyStryker
  24. I was curious regarding availability of not only parts for the COUGAR but the availability of the Cougars. Used ones which have no declared problems are going for well over the prices of the new Warthogs! I hope someone like Miles, or others ... come up with replacement internal PCB for the Cougar TQS. Miles.... I just ordered the 1 mm solder for the Coldheat unit. You were right the solder I bought several days ago was to thick for the Coldheat and it had silver in it....... not to be used by the Coldheat. Roland
  25. Sokol1_br: DOes the TUSBA bypass the TQS TM board? And is it compatable with Miles magnetic sensor assembly??
