  1. Hello Imp Thanks for pointing that out. That switch is used for radio noise cancellation, when the noise amount is too big because the aircraft is too far away from the selected station or by other signals interference. As the aircraft gets near the station and signal gets stronger, the noise suppression system will disconnect automatically. The radio power switch is located at the right panel.
  2. We are trying to have Russian/English/Chinese cockpits available on release. So far Russian and English ones are ready.
  3. Sorry for the robotic look of the animations, we are trying to make them look more realistic.
  4. At the top of the tail and looking backwards, as in all MiG-19s. The part is not in the external model yet but is already made. Here it is in the MiG-19S WIP.
  5. Hi Beamscanner, please relax, this is not directed at you in any way. He´s just showing the work on the radar screen for day and night modes as Dr. Squirrel said. Regarding the radar clutter and noise, you´re mostly right in every aspect, so expect to see it in the final product.:)
  6. Hi Foxbat, You´re seeing WIP pictures, we are working in the radar modes and functionality and keeping colors and indications simple. It will be in the correct colors and with night and day modes implemented. Regarding the sight, you´re right, it must be an ASP-5N. I realized it was wrong but haven´t changed the textures yet while working on other stuff. Thanks
  7. First, ECM, it was used by B-47s and 52s from the late 50s onward. It will fill the radar screen with false targets and noise and made the bomber hard to lock. In the MiG-19P radar control panel there is a switch which is labeled "Jamming". It will reduce the jamming to a thin line, giving bearing to the bomber, kind of a HOJ mode. Second, They are very dangerous, it will depend on your attack profile and tactics to avoid them.
  8. What you´re showing are the latest production airframes which used the MiG-19PM fuselage, which as the PM, had the rudder trimmer added. First and mid life production variants didn´t had the trimmer in the rudder, and happen to be the ones that I have access to. Radio, radio-altimeter, radar and other avionics updates were performed to several MiG-19P aircraft of different series.
  9. Nice model Araks! Is that the one that was made for War Thunder? Sorry, didn´t understand well, can you try to explain better? I can get it´s something about the front gear, but then I don´t know. Edit: If it is rudder trimmer related, the MiG-19P do not have one, it was a MiG-19S feature and also installed on some MiG-19PMs.
  10. Спасибо Laivynas
  11. As some have mentioned, the main purpose is to be able to intercept and destroy air assets at night or bad weather, where a day fighter would struggle. The radar is able to search for targets from 12-9km distance and will automatically lock any aircraft within a 7 degrees cone at the distance of 4 to 3.5 km forward of the MiG-19. The RP-5 is able to lock while still searching (because it uses two radars), so it is kind of an old TWS system.
  12. Kaktus my friend, you´re really hard to please...:D We are just showing some advance and while it´s true that in screenshots we have shown more, in the videos you can see it in motion in DCS. Don´t worry my demanding friends, the MiG-19P will be a complete module with full fidelity MiG-19P experience. I can guarantee that. We are working now in into making the RP-5 and ASP-5ND/AR-18-8 indications work properly in both the "optic" and "radar" method of operation. Can someone translate this so I don´t have to use Google Trans? Thanks
  13. It has greater top speed, 1370km/h vs 1454km/h, and also better climb and slighthly better turn characteristics.
  14. NR-30 30 mm cannons.
  15. Thanks guys! I have been testing with some variants of the hood, and believe me, it will be a real hassle even with track IR and VR if we put the original large one. A simple action in real life (leaning a bit forward and looking right) becomes a problem when under the restrictions of a sim.
  16. The hood will be removable, as during night time it´s not needed.
  17. This is the hood we are planning to add to the radar screen. It´s not as cumbersome as the original, which if featured will seriously hinder gameplay, so we think this is the best option for a simulator. What do you think?
  18. Sorry, original owners told me not to share this manuals.:( The Polish book is about all the variants, S, P, PM.

  20. это достаточно хорошо? etc, etc...
  21. МиГ-19С будут пилотируемым модулем. это будет бесплатное обновление владельцам МиГ-19П.
  22. The flyable MiG-19S (once ready), will be a free update to MiG-19P owners.
  23. Yes, this is a MiG-19S, not a MiG-19P. The P is still flyable. As far as I know...:music_whistling: The MiG-19S will be added as AI with the MiG-19P module and yes, the end goal is to make it flyable too.
