How to respawn Static objects please ?

It is starting to look that way yes, I am making do with std objects for now, now replaced all the original static objects with a proper group and it respawns just fine every time, just set weapons hold to make them harmless. -
You know, I spent some hours searching on these forums, and online in general and found no answers, and there seems to be nobody able or willing to even bother replying here, is this somehow a stupid question or something ? :helpsmilie:

I tried changing the object from a static object to a proper "group" and the 1 vehicle test group re-spawns correctly every time........so the question remains how to achieve this with a static object please ? -

Mist is loaded as the first script in the mission, along with the CAP script, both of which function perfectly. -
Just getting into the editor a little here, taken my first step with MIST and managed to get the CAP script working, and adjusted in my training mission, very happy to have got this far. I am adding 6 static objects (enemy vehicles) all with a unique name, a flight will follow waypoints to the training area, destroy the targets with CBU, then back to base, re-arm, take off and do the route again, near the targets on one of those waypoints I am trying to create a trigger to respawn those units again if they are all dead. So far I setup a continuous trigger, part of group in trigger area, if X,y,z unit is dead, then that fires a message saying re-spawning units, that is as far as I got, so guessing I need to add some LUA or script or whatever. Completely over my head all the scripting and lua stuff, and only got this far because of the well written header in the CAP script, and some basic understanding of other types of script editing.. So had a quick look in the MIST readme, and found some reference to re-spawning, and specifically mentioned the kind of thing I might like to do, but not actually sure how to implement that code, or indeed the exact syntax, or where to even enter that syntax ? My units are called CBUtraining1 , CBUtraining2 , through to six etc, for reference. So once again, just to summarise, once those units are dead, I want them to respawn when part of the attack group go through a trigger, basically a never ending loop of that state, so you can play the loop as many times as you like. Spent some time searching and reading and no closer, tried the set flag command and various other things suggested to no avail so far. Two differences I see between my question and commonly asked questions, firstly I want to respawn when in a trigger zone, rather than just based on time after death, and secondly my "group" is a static group not a "Unit" so to speak, not sure if that makes a difference in the options I am using, but I tried as many variations on the answers people have posted in similar questions elsewhere. If someone can give me a leg up here and set me on the right course it would be much appreciated please ?

I searched......and I tried to find the correct sub forum and failed, so please forgive. I am using A10C VC to create the correct positions for my little 8inc LCD's and have no problems displaying my MFD's etc, but one side effect, my kneepad doesn't show in the correct position and cannot find the right guide on how to move that into the correct screen by hand, as VC A10C does not offer drag and drop for the kneepad like it does with the MFD's and CDU. In particular I am trying to make this work properly in DCS2alpha atm. Thanks in advance, please make any guide or advice as simple as possible, which is why I use VC A10C to configure my screen positions !! :)

TM warthog joystick broken

I have a nearly brand new Warthog Stick, used maybe for less than 30mins, I decided to make a FFB version and hence never used it since.....can be yours for 25% less than retail price if your interested. -

I concur, the SU25T is like a tank compared to my A10C, and like also said it does always seem to be displays go down so easily, even with the smaller bore weapons. I don't wanna say how realistic it is as I never flew a real A10C, I never worked on them, and can only compare to the SU25T. -
Damn, I just realised, actually a customer since Flanker, my memory is fading, damn that flight model was sensational for it's time, tail sliding bliss :D It was a lovely discovery tbh, all the hard work going on for this platform is massively appreciated and enjoyed.

So the other day I installed V2.0 DCS, then discovered I needed to purchase terrain, being near the end of the month at the time I put it to one side for a later purchase. Today I logged in to see about buying Nevada etc so I could have a spin in the new V2.0 engine, while in the purchase screen I noticed the sign which says "Customers that purchased DCS: A-10C Warthog while it was in beta (prior to February 21st, 2011) will be provided this map FOR FREE!" , being fairly certain that meant me I checked my serial and dates, and presto was happy to find I got a key and this map for free. Currently downloading Nevada now, looking forward to a fly later, but I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to ED, it is very appreciated to be acknowledged by the team, and only further enforces my support of ED for the future, the next purchase I make will probably be even more eager. I have been a customer since the early days of LOMAC, and have bought nearly everything official since, and fully intend to keep doing so. Only one thing missing now ED, Dynamic Campaigns - Wallet Ready :) Happy Customer , thank you again. :pilotfly::joystick:

If you need a British voice for something I am happy to help, never done anything like it before but happy to step up to the task if you have a script ;) Just about to install Part1 and try it out, only recently became reasonably operational with the important A10C systems so I can do some missions like this and hit something with various weapon types :D -

Well, in case someone else seeks the answers I was looking for...... I added my 2 new 9inch HDMI LCD panels to the setup I am using, so a 40in LCD 1080p TV, a 1920x1200 Dell Screen and 2x 9in LCD HDMI panels, running them all via my single GTX970 with what seems to be zero frame hit in A10C, the second GPU looks like it was not needed, yay...thanks again. :thumbup: -

I have two Mimo USB 7" here, but looking to improve performance if I can use that second GPU in the box the way I intend, the HDMI screens are 4:3 as well , so will sit slightly nicer behind my MFD's where the Mimo's are 16:9 and overhang a touch :D Thanks for the suggestion tho.
