Same here. Never bothered using the autopilot. Last time I used any kind of autopilot was in a 12000km non stop test flight using a MD-11F in FS2004 ^^ Simply try to fly level and make the switch and see if it works for you.

Yeah, it also works on mine. Once you switch to RIO, open Iceman with "A" and then point to the option you want (relative altitude, heading, speed). I do it with the mouse but as stated above, it also works with the proper keybind.

Indeed. The first thing I did on my brother's PC (he has a Rift) was to appreciate the cockpit and RIO office. Not kidding, I didn't do much else for the first 45mins and even though I have to run the sim on pretty low settings on my brother's pc. (Mine broke :( ) I literally cried (of joy)!

I'd actually want that one as an axis bind... Same for the flaps.

I'm checking how far I can go without the need to open the manua or watching tutorials or checklistsl. It can be labeled as foolish but I approach every plane this way first. The only thing I did was to read most of the buttons and levers and watch how they worked before I actually took flight. So far I can: - Start from the carrier - Land on the carrier - Shoot down planes with AIM-9 and Guns So the very basics should be doable without much training. The folks who come from hardcore WWII Sim enviroments adapt pretty quick to the "hands on" or rather "stick and rudder" attitude of the cat. Here is my first landing (0 tries before, a single go around to check descent rate) I know it's shitty but it's supposed to be ;) Enjoy!

Although I prepurchased as soon as it was possible, I also sent some $€s to Meteor. Not many, as I am currently out of a job, but a little appreciation is due :) And also paying for the one or other dude who digs his music but is also broke. I actually did, 15 Eur or USD, can't remember. I think it was to pay for expenses travelling to the Museum and there was some kind of wooden beermat reward with a Tu-22 on it. But I never heard of that again. Was that reward cancelled or simply put back? I'm glad I could contribute to the development but I kept wondering.

Any news on this front?
