  1. I do know U.K nuclear subs are equiped with an Emergency Propulsion Motor (EPM) which is driven by a D.C (battery backed) power source should the main steam turbines fail or the reactor inadvertently shuts down. This inconjuction with blowing the main ballast tanks should provide enough forward momentum to enable the boat to surface, hopefully!
  2. Cheers Mustang and thank's Mizzy, great skins!

  4. Brilliant!:megalol:
  5. Not sure how relevant this is to Nvidia cards but have you tried reverting to older gfx drivers? I have experienced Black Shark GUI problems whilst using an old ATI card (X1900XT) running up to date drivers in the past.
  6. Thankyou Vyrtuoz it's appreciated. :smilewink:
  7. Take a look here http://www.bootstrike.com/Articles/LCDvsCRT/ Not sure if those are typical values but if they are correct then the 19" CRT uses approx twice as much power as the equivalent LCD.

  9. Somehow I don't believe the Toad gives a hoot what it looks like, though that tired and wheathered effect is kind of cool.
  10. If using Vista or Win 7 then use D3dOverrider, it's an app included within RivaTuner to force Vsync. http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner
  11. Excellent, cheers Skypat!
  12. Excellent news, cheers Skypat!
  13. I'm running a ATI 5970, no difference in crossfire from what I can tell which is pretty much what I expected. From what I have read those new Fermi cards run extremely hot and consume a lot of power. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18129511
  14. I have PM'd you. ;)
  15. Registered, thanks Route.
  16. Cheers Mustang.
  17. Excellent work Funkster!
  18. Good price for the spec; wonder when they will be available in the U.K?
  19. Mushkin PC-1600 6-6-6-18 RAM, where do I get a piece of that? Never heard of DDR3 Ram with those latencies.
  20. To be honest I don't see that much of an improvement over a GTX 280. As someone mentioned, it's the CPU that counts.
  21. Thanks Case.
  22. Is there a method that enables the server to record a Tacview File without exporting the data to the clients? The "EnableExportScript = true" or " EnableExportScript = false" within the config.lua does not discriminate between the server and client. Reason for asking is that I'm trying to minimise the upload data bandwidth. Regards, Ax.
