Is there anything else that has been omitted that we should know about? ;)

I have only ever experienced this problem whilst Alt-Tabing.

I have a Nvidia GTX 280, and yes it does appear that Vsync is working in 'window' mode but by my understanding the FPS should not exceed (by much) my monitors refresh rate of 60 Hz? I also believe that Vsync at fullscreen may be a common issue with Vista 64 BIT.

I found that If I run LO:FC in window mode it still fills my desktop (fullscreen) with the added bonus of removing the tearing I was suffering and increasing the frame rate and hence performance. The FPS counter also indicates frames way above the screens native resolution refresh rate.:unsure:

I can not get Vsync to work in full screen using Vista 64 + GTX 280, even though it is forced on in the Nvidia control panel. Any ideas?

Anybody tried this with LOMAC FC?

That would suggest to me that something other than your memory is causing instabilty. PM Sent.:smilewink:

Make sure you are not overclocking your RAM, as you increase the FSB you will need to decrease the frequency of your RAM to either it's original rated speed or just below. Other things like disabling C1E Support, Max CPUID and Intel Speed Step will help.

I could not agree more, It is a pity that no subsequent episodes have been produced.

I have re-installed about three times, it only ever asked for activation on the initial install. Does this mean I have lost 3 activations? I thought reactivation was only necessary if you had undertaken major hardware or operating system changes.

But that's my point, with FD enabled the need for trimming is vastly reduced and the bird seems to fly in a more controlled manner. Maneuverability appears to be just as good and if not better than if FD was disabled. Obviously IRL this maybe not be true as others have pointed out.

In my experience so far which is very little I have found that the Shark is far easier to fly with FD mode enabled. From what you are saying Evil this should not be the case.:unsure:

I know it's not quite the same but by joining a squad and practising on a dedi server using teamspeak has helped me and others no end.;)

Nobody expects actual figures but I am sure they could indicate whether sales are below or above their expectations. I for one have purchased at least four copies of this thoroughly enjoyable sim.:thumbup:

Having installed the Russian version should I deactivate SF uninstall the RU version then install the English version?

I have purchased the DL version and two boxed DVD copies. I will also purchase at least one or two copies of the Western version and most definitely the spiral bound manual upon thier release. :thumbup:

Received my boxed copy today from the qpig website.:) Order was made on the 30th October.
