Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
JabbyJabara replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
I've flown all sorts of tail wheels IRL and this Corsair is definitely misbehaving, differential braking is differential braking the physics do not change between aircraft types - this function of the corsair is bugged for sure -
Hello, been having this problem for a while. JDAMs consistently off target - my other buddy in a squadron swears by them and that he can hit the hatch of a T72 accurately with these. Meanwhile my ones always end up either side of the tank. I do everything from chucks guide, i have FCR on and I use the laser to assist I am not using a PP point. I slew the TGP over and place it under the base of the tank as shown in the TGP screenshot. I have tried multiple impact angles, multiple altitude tests and still not getting the same results. Theres obviously something I'm missing. Screenshots have come rom Sinai instant action

DCS Crash With Program to Release More Weapons Than Loaded
JabbyJabara replied to Str][ker's topic in Bugs and Problems
I had this same issue, once on multiplayer server while level and another time in singleplayer whilst flying at a weird angle. It appears to occur with Mk84s on CFT stations. I cannot get it to repeat sadly -
First Time Joining a Server Results in a CTD
JabbyJabara replied to JabbyJabara's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
Hello @Flappie I have the latest log file which resulted in a crashdcs.log -
I mean I also tried it with a tail fuse as well but maybe it was the wrong tail fuze I'll give this a go and get back to you Edit: Righto that works. In the F16 do I have to set TAIL, NOSE, or NSTL?

Hello, DSU-33 air fuse bugged on GBU38 and other bombs. Tracked attached tested with F16. Please can we have some guidance with a manual or PDF update and how we are to utilise these fuses Thank you F16 Air Fuse Test.trk

@LorenLuke @Lord Vader, I resolved the issue, your methods are correct - the issue was that the method does not work if both aircraft have FCR installed, and if one of them switches their FCR dome off and receives a RF Handover it is not possible to switch to FCR. Track included With the FCR not installed on one of two apaches - the method above works as intended. I do not know if this is intended operating of the system or a bug but it is something for an SME of the Apache rotary craft to confirm. Tested Scenarios; Two apaches hot start from ground, one FCR installed, one apache with no FCR installed. RF Handover works as described by LukeLoren with the Apache receiving a radar contact and firing RF hellfire Two apaches hot start, both have FCR installed, one has FCR switched off and MMA Pinned, RF Handover does not work with method described above Two Apaches cold start, one with FCR and one without FCR installed, same test RF Handover works as described above Thank you for helping me to clarify my troubles apache rf handoff test-20240514-150024.trk apache rf handoff test-20240514-143959.trk

Tried every which way several times and it does not work. I received hand off and made the inputs as both pilot and CPG. I'll need to see a track of the methods both @LorenLuke and @Lord Vader state because at this current build it does not work as advertised. The track will need to show one apache without an FCR and one with. I will create another track file and demonstrate if need be.

Hello, Scenario: Two apaches, one without an FCR or FCR switched off and the other Apache has FCR on and currently scanning target area. The lead apache with the FCR should be able to RF handover to wingman without FCR and the wingman should be able to engage. Problem/Bug: It is impossible from either the CPG seat or Pilot to engage a RF Handover target without being able to Sight Select Switch (SSS) FCR mode. The SSS FCR mode is only available if the FCR is installed and on the wingman apache. According to manual, US Doctrine, Apache tactics and Matt Wagner on his video both in the description and in the video you describe the ability for a wingman to engage without an FCR however in the video at timestamp 5m 51s - your wingman clearly has a dome. Solution: This needs to be stated by either Matt Wagner or the DCS flight manual of the Apache that you cannot engage a radar handoff with a RF hellfire without the FCR on and installed because the FCR SSS must be available.

Trying to join a server first time results in DCS World crashing to desktop. After then entering the application again - multiplayer join works. Sometimes it will crash again, its a fifty fifty chance at times

Is it possible to delete all control measures whilst on the ground prior to flight? Or is there a way to set the option in mission editor that prevents the loading of all control measures which are not relevant to current flight? I am not a fan of having to delete control measures every start of a flight, because i want to use the points for actual relevant positions like battle positions and friendly units near my area etc.

Similar to the P47 repair error with the landing gear struts not providing enough cushion and the repair dropping the aircraft hard. the Mosquito tailwheel fails again because it is dropped too hard on the ground

Request the ability to pan the kneeboard map around for WW2 and helicopters that lack GPS and INS systems in order to track where we are on the map. It is extremely limiting when multiplayer servers do not give waypoints on dynamic servers where the target is always different. This combined with allowing us to etch our position on the kneeboard via shift K means we can track where we are.

w.i.p F16C Delay Fuses for Mk82, Mk84 Fail
JabbyJabara replied to JabbyJabara's topic in Bugs and Problems
Oh Oh cool. What does this review mean for fuses? More realism? More options? Perhaps some skipping logic? Cause it was working perfectly fine for the F16. Can you enlighten the users? -
Hello, None of the fuse settings in the F16 work anymore whether its the Mk84 air, Mk82, or Mk84 LDGP F16 Fuse Logic Fail.trk
-
So I tested it on the same mission again after a slow full file check repair. I tried safety latch closed, half open, set to auto and force the high blower on. It worked fine passing 16000FT with the safety latch and auto set. Mustve been some weird gremlin or something wrong with the aircraft spawn.
-
I'll feel a bit silly if so but ill also run a file repair
-
This was on a multiplayer map with a cloud preset, ill check it again our squadron admin usually just has the mission file with fair weather cloud for picturesque scenes no dynamic weather or scripted weather. Maybe ill try setting the altimeter to ISA pressure passing 10000FT. Its odd - the system has not done this to me before. Even had the ram air, manually adjusting cooling flaps for maximum airspeed.

Conversion of Units between Metric and Imperial
JabbyJabara replied to JabbyJabara's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Well the distance measurement coversion feature came with 2.8 - now we just need the ability to switch between lbs and kg for fuel loading and consideration of weight for take off -
Hello I recently did a flight in the P51 on Normandy map, standard conditions, fair weather and temperature. When passing by 15000FT the turbocharger blower does not automatically come on. I continued climbing from initial power setting of 42 inches eventually at full throttle and 2700RPM - went past 20000FT still nothing, Went to 25000FT still nothing until I forced it on by holding the spring guard and moving the switch to high. All previous updates the P51 turbocharger would come on automatically approx 14,500 - as it states in chucks guide and the flight manual that ED provides.
