Hi all, is it me alone or all have this; neither website nor online login working. I am unable to connect to my account and fly online. any idea?
-
So my first one #42206 was burned along with my room :( but got the new one Serial #: 55859 Location: Jeddah, KSA.
-
if that so then will be great and am going for it

I am running 1440p with GTX970. I need to upgrade but not yet sure 1070 or 1080. I am waiting the release of 1080Ti then I think the price of 1080 could drop and go for it. No plan for VR

is it going to be better for DCS than 1080?

I spent a week searching and best I found that can meet your request is LG 25UM58-P (~$166 at amazon) I have ended up with purchasing Acer H277HU; a true 2K. waiting it to be delivered and then will report how different DCS will be. yes a 3440x1440 will be perfect but the hell expensive now and need at least GTX1080 to run it smoothly
-
well I went to local shop and checked a 34" ultrawide (21:9) next to a 27" (16:9 2K); they both have almost the same height but the 27" will give me more vertical FOV which I think will be advantage for sim. 34" it too wide and will be great option if you go for 4K but too expensive as you will get too more vertical FOV

Guys after searching more I am king of confusing! what will be best for DCS; 1. 2K > 1080p or 1440p? 2. if 1080p is better then am going for LG 29UM68-P and done 2. but If 1440p is better, will 25" monitor be enough or better to go 27" I found 1440p - 25" > Acer H257HU or ASUS MX25AQ - 27" > Acer H277HU or ASUS MX27AQ Seems Acer has faster Response Time
-
nice to hear this and I don't use fan :) Yes this what am looking for; a 2K monitor. the one I saw is "LG 29UM68-P" and it's a new model after yours "LG 29UM65" AFAIK
-
Hello fighters, So my old monitor got destroyed and I need to buy new one. I have read somewhere here that is better to go for Ultra wide monitor than 1080p. I have GTX 970 and TrackIR5. No plan for VR at this moment as I am planning to build a simple cockpit. 4K monitors are way expensive and need strong graphic card. I have searched and based on my budget LG 29UM68-P 29-Inch is most suitable so far. I know it has AMD FreeSync which I will not get benefit from it but overall it's looking a good monitor. Any one has feedback about this monitor or a better one (<400$)? thanks

that will be great

TM Warthog burned! What to replace
Rabso replied to Rabso's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yes this is the problem, I fly most of time A-10C and TM warthog stick is very nice with it. I decided to go for another TM warthog at this time with hegykc's bolt on gimbal which I have very big hope that it will solve the hard centering. after that, am going to wait VKB to produce the modern grip then buy it as its gimbal all metal after using the TM warthog, it's really hard to go back to CH, yes CH was amazing at its time. I need to clarify this, since I bought my first warthog, the only this is I noticed a small notch/clunk coming from the spring once I go away from center. it's kind of feeling of that clunk more than hearing it. is this the gimbal issue all people clamming it? -
TM Warthog burned! What to replace
Rabso replied to Rabso's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
no not a full sure yet, Warthog but bad gimbal or VKB but empty buttons grip If the gimbal issue solved then am going to warthog, if VKB produced modern grip (very soon) then going for VKB. I guess am going to wait around 2 months and see 1+ for warthog that is the throttle. -

TM Warthog burned! What to replace

My 10cm extension will be shipped from MFG with my Crosswind end of this month. The Gunfighter looks amazing but the grip still not meet modern jets. I guess am going with TM Warthog again and I really have hope that someone will do a better Gimbal for Warthog. hegykc already mentioned about "A bolt-on replacement gimbal for the Warthog". hope it means something good. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2845237&postcount=1143 This is what in my head now! it's better gimbal and plastic thing is not big issue, I can go with Pro witch is metal grip. However, still it's a WWII style and I like more modern styles. I do fly FSX too which need a lot of buttons. Yes I am following hegykc topic and hope he release things soon. -
waiting the answer too, for sure count me in if yes
