  1. I have to keep the aileron trim pretty far to the right to keep wings level (no wind). Has anyone else experienced this?

  3. I'm curious how we're supposed to use the vertical speed indicator? It's a pretty important instrument and I can't see it at all. What's the thought process for its current location?

  6. just quick issue: in the beginning of training mission 2, the instructor tells your to order wheel chucks removed, however there are no wheel chocks in place (I confirmed this by gently adding power and was able to roll forward).

  8. so...what causes this upon startup? i'm guessing nothing good is there a way in-sim to tell you what's happening to your plane? this would be phenomenal for training exercises

  10. oh i know the mission editor inside and out. that's essentially all i use these days, whether making my own missions but more often than not tweaking some downloaded missions. Thing is, with me, is if I design a mission then it's not as fun. as you know it so well it loses its mystique and unpredictability. sure you can throw in some random stuff, but for the most part you know exactly what's gonna happen, as you made it happen that way. that's why we need customizable search access to the literal thousands and thousands of user-created missions out there just waiting to be explored. It opens the door to almost limitless untapped possibility and a never-ending flow of new adventures waiting to be discovered

  13. i know the main "radar" switch to turn it off but i just want to silence to audio noise. is that switch over there too?

  15. yep its checked. but i have another thread about this and it seems lots of people are having the issue so it may be a bug:
  16. oh the rudder trim is a separate issue i believe (but not sure). i dont use yaw channel normally but it does work. but the rudder won't trim when i press the trimmer button no matter what. the cyclic trims fine. the Mi-8 should work the same but it's rudder trim works for me
  17. 420...nice yeah i've read chuck's guide front to back and its awesome. but still can't get auto hover to work, its one of those things you have to be shown instead of read theory about
  18. are there any video tutorials on how to auto hover? not sure how to actually enable/disable it and what allowances there are thanks P.S. also i STILL can't get the rudder to stay trimmed
  19. is there a way to hide infantry in buildings do you think? like clip them in, then when you blow up the building they die too
  20. I'm wanting to set up some WW2 missions where enemy infantry are posted up in villages and firing from windows of buildings so you have to take out specific buildings so the troops can advance. is this possible? it would be awesome to have enemy fire coming out of windows at you
  21. i got them to work and using LCtrl+F12 also works! are there trains that have AA and shoot back if you're attacking them? almost nailed it
  22. hi thanks for your response. yeah this is the way I'm doing it now, the problem is if the mission has hundreds of units then it can take a long time. was looking for a simple ctrl+a select all way to modify multiple units at once

  25. hmm, i'm not quite following this. i see an "show hidden units" checkbox but that just shows them in the mission editor and doesn't actually unhide them. i there something else you're talking about?
