Ok, yes that makes sense now. See i just recently bought the mig15bis and added a dark custom skin to it and the reflection effect now looks so amazing i wanted to maybe add it to other planes. Thanks for your info... ill have another look at the files and see how i go!

Hi all, Im currently at work and not sat at my pc so this may be a little vague.... When i want to edit the Yak-40 skin i cant see any bmp/dff files? just the notepad++ file. why do some plane skin folders contain these and not others? I have the russia plane pack installed to allow me to fly the yak-40, I just want to edit the skin. Thanks for any info. btw.. instructions for either 2.0 or 1.5 are fine. I presume they would both be the same anyway.

Hi all... When i play 1.5 (before and after updates) the gameplay will always pause intermittently for a half second or so. Other than that i get beautiful frame rates and no other performance issues. If i watch my track back after a flight there is no pausing whatsoever. 2.0 Nevada seems to run just fine with no pausing. I have quite modest settings too, even if i turn the performance down the problem still occurs in 1.5. I have noticed quite a few 'stutter' threads on dcs, but i dont think my issue is a 'stutter' its definitely a momentary pause during gameplay. Happens with cocpit mode, F2 etc.. I'm at a loss. Any thoughts would be very helpful thank you. im running gtx970 nvidia, 16gig ram etc. More info can be provided if needed. Thank you!

Have you tried going to 'start menu', 'all programs', 'eagle dynamics', 'dcs world open beta' and then click on 'update dcs world open beta'? Thats what i had to do to get mine to work. hope it helps.

Sometimes when i select a aircraft from the drop down box in mission editor, it can accidentally tick the late activation box if you mash you mouse button :)

I love the mig 21. It's lots of fun! It feels heavy and seems more real than most of the other planes. Like most said the M2000C is not here yet! I'm sure it will be great, but I think the mig will be hard to beat! Can you not buy both?? :)
