It offers comfort for bigger palms With my palm size ergonomics of Alpha is terrible. FLNKR is night and day comparing to it. But I agree that it is not for everyone.

What's wrong with all current options? You are constantly talking about FFB and how good are cheaper options but still don't own Moza?

Help with multiple FFB devices - VPForce stick and pedals
propeler replied to mdtenor22001's topic in Input Devices
It is general problem with FFB devices in windows and in games. It's related to enumeration of devices and pretty old support of FFB capable devices. Try to turn joystick first after booting windows, and only then when it will be enumerated by Windows turn on pedals. -
That's 37 pounds over 5 inches of travel (7.4 lb/in) plus 3 pounds of breakout+friction. In roll, it's lighter at about 3.7 lb/in over 3 inches of travel plus 2 pounds of breakout+friction (a little over 13 pounds total). Here is writeup about forces
-
It is not true. It has breakout force in the center, it has additional spring kicked in on high AoA. In some sources it says spring depends on G as well. But not much confirmation of it. IRL stick do not communicate anything more. But in real life all frame is shaking on some situations (Stall, AoA, gear extended) but as we do not have frame to shake - it can be added to the stick Same there about shaking. You will feel airflow increases load (both from speed and propeller), you will feel elevator weight (under G it will increase obviously), And you will feel so called local AoA effect (imagine you fall onto the tail, force will invert)

Sorry, Messed up with DD version. 16Nm on DD is bit more reasonable. But price still bother me. What bother me even more - that pedals are priced more correctly. They have put there 1 motor which looks like Fanatec DD motor and price increased to the pedals without it about 500$... That's look way more realistic. What about the price of joystick base - looks like price dumping and price wars with competitors. It just can not be so cheap if to make them to be profitable.
-
My prediction - 60Nm is a false statement. And 20Nm on DD as well. You can ask any simracer how big and expensive is single 20Nm DD base. It is impossible to smash two 20Nm bases into the form factor and price announced to make DD version to have 20Nm. Just impossible on my knowlege of the world.

Guys. Looks like I introduced the bug in 25.1.2 with DirectX periodic effects. It indeed do not stop once started. AS workaround for now - dial DirectX periodic to 0 and use Generic Shaker effect in Commander. It uses shaking translated by DCS via telemetry and pretty much mimic periodics from DirectX. In next update I will fix periodic effects from DirectX.

Send me an email. It is very dynamic an changing.
-
Nobody fly in reality like in DCS. It is possible only in DCS to turn off Over G blackout and pull stick constantly to the max.
-
I would not say so. It's reasonable. It's just spring stop force which you need to overcome normal mode. In normal mode it will be around 60% of it. Around 24Kg. Pretty ok for combat jet control stick.
-
I can manufacture the base with 40 KG force Just nobody ask so high forces. But it is possible to do. Will be slightly bigger because require higher reduction ratio and wider belt. But doable.

You are not right You just do not know about it ;). FFBeast is close. On my mechanics design it easily makes 15Kg on 200mm extender. With mech from Victor it makes 28Kg force on full length stick.
