TM Warthog Joystick Mounting Screws
CrimsonGhost replied to CrimsonGhost's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thank you sir. I appreciate your assistance. -
Hello all. Quick question. Could someone please share the specs on the standard mounting screws? I took mine out for a DIY build, bought a house and moved, and of course the screws are gone. I know they are metric, but that's about all I remember. Thanks.

Aluminium Joystick/HOTAS table mounts - Monster Tech
CrimsonGhost replied to meisterolsen's topic in For Sale
Just placed an order for my TM Warthog. My DYI set up broke yesterday. Time to get something much sturdier. Now the waiting begins. -
I too would love to a raised player limit, or another server. If only we could get others to help. Hint Hint.

Hey Mirknir, is there a list of mods that are not permitted on the server? Last few times I tried to connect, my client was "not pure". Sure would like to do my A-10C training on your great server. Thank you sir.

This one thread explains more useful features of the ABRIS than many other combined. Thank you very much for sharing this information and I have also added this to my favorites.

Add me in for a T38 model. Then just add some NASA paint and I would be set.

I too have experienced the lack of canopy handle functionality. In my case it's when I am using Rift VR.

I don't recall that being an option I saw during setup. But that could very well explain the problems I'm having. Thanks for the tip, I shall investigate further.

Thank you all for the quick replies. I certainly did not expect 4K quality from the Rift. I knew there would be sacrifices. I guess I was expecting closer to 1080 resolution quality. But it's not even close to that. Like I mentioned in my first post, even zooming in, all the gauges and switch markings are totally unreadable. I see videos on YouTube, and the quality of their image is vastly superior. Particularly Bunyap's VR videos if you are familiar with them. I will keep researching and tweaking, but have there been any reports of "defective" Rifts? I know the technology is still in the early stages, but if others are having success with it I would like to troubleshoot the issue.

Hello all. As the title says, I recently picked up the Rift with the sole intended use being for DCS. Previously I had been running DCS at 4K with no issues. The sim looked amazing. Now when using the Rift, the level of immersion is stunning, but the graphical quality is rather disappointing. I have increased the pixel density, but did not notice any gain from going up to 1.8. My question is, will changing my graphic settings in the sim make things better? And if so, what have folks found to be the best? I noticed while in menu, using the Rift, that all my settings are still where I had them for 4K, including screen resolution. Any pointers in the right direction would be most appreciated. I just got out of a test flight in the F-5, and while really enjoyable, reading any of the gauges or switch labels was practically impossible. And forget spotting targets without labels. I was unable to even recognize aircraft type until under 1 mile. Here are my system specs. Hopefully someone has a similar build and can steer me in the right direction. i7-4790K, EVGA 980ti Hybrid, 32GB DDR3-2600. Small overclocks on the processor and video card. Thank you all.

I would recommend the Open Conflict server. Player and AI CAP keep each other busy, and there are objectives to complete if your up too it. This is where I plan to do the majority of my A-10C practice, which should start soon. It's a decent server worth checking out.

It would be fun to have the Vietnam era OH-6. This would allow you to team up with Huey gunships and recreate the Pink Teams. Loaches would draw fire, Huey's would kill the attacker. Had to a bunch of crazy Loach drivers back then.

Hello all. I am finally working on getting my Warthog set up and mounted to speaker stands of all things. Saw the idea on another forum and so far it seems to be what I'm looking for. Ok, enough rambling. I know that there are a few folks making extensions for our beloved Warthog sticks, but from what I see they are all made in Europe. I'm so ding if anyone may have ordered a set here in the US and has the unused ones laying around. I would of course pay for shipping, and we can work out a fair price. Either PM me here, or leave a way for me to reach you if you can help out. Thanks all!

Hello. I wanted to share my logs from a recent crash. Was on a MP server in the L-39ZA, attempting to capture the PRMG at Maykop when DCS crashed. Logs attached. Thanks. Logs.zip

NTTR info and mission by the 476
CrimsonGhost replied to Stuka's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
First off thank you for all the effort put into all this. Now for my question. Am I correct in thinking that the accompanying mission is just a template for creating other missions? And if so, where would we find such created missions? Thanks again, this has to be a monumental undertaking, and it's things like this that show just how good the DCS community is. -
I also bought this as soon as the sales server wasn't backed up to the point it was unresponsive. :) This should be a great module for mixing it up, and not too difficult in the way of systems. Lastly, having grown up on Miramar when these were used, and Top Fun was filmed, I am sure to relive many fond memories. Really excited for this one!

I'm hoping the new TM pedals (I have them on Amazon preorder) will work out better for me than my failed attempts with the Saitek Combat Pedals. I'm a below the knee amputee on the right side and the little foot rests on the new pedals has me excited. I have a Warthog HOTAS sitting here that I can't use until I find pedals that work for me.

Had not found that one yet. Thanks for the tip!

TYVM for this tweak. My crew chief actually has cleaned the windscreen and I can see properly. :)

I would like to have a crew chief that knows how to clean the windows properly. I know they should be a little dirty, but it seems to be a little over done on this module.
