Couldn't be happier with my 1080 locked at 60 fps until engine cpu stuff happens. All this at 4K very nice! All high settings and ultra visibility settings plus I have ground flat shadows turned off. One note I do use mustangs no tree shadow mod which really helps!

Wow well way I see it ED is trying to enhance human head movement in the pit like it has been enhanced for VR. Having used both trac ir and VR extensively this enhancement is much better in my opinion. Guess it just works better for my setup compared to others You guys can make quick simple adjustments to get it perfect. I never much enjoyed the face looking straight down at instruments approach. Having head up and in the fight is better especially Cas situations. This must really depend on people's setups as its perfect on mine with a few minor head elevation adjustments. -
Ya that is awesome and I was always suspicious of Crimea and Ukraine coming as those Nav AIDS where added not to long ago in Dcs World !

Quick update Mustang I recently got a gtx 1080 and one of the faster ones at that. These clouds now are standard issue for me I made tweak as above but set it to 6 and have constant locked 60fps at 4K now. Man flying down through those clouds for an attack adds an all new awesomeness to the sim. I'm more than happy to test more tweaks you make!

So I have tried this with your version and the game crashes when mission loads. Anything we can do to get it to work in 1.54? Yes I found the new location of the warhead lua Edit I have tried with both versions same thing it crashes. Think you guys will need to edit the new warhead lua that came with 1.54 or can do myself and try. Edit again ok I went in and made the changes you guys made on the stock warhead lua and appears to be working well. Using the mirage instant action ground attack mission as test bed. But I will resort to your expertise and maybe making the official mod update :)

Makes perfect sense if people stop griping and take time to adjust and setup their system properly. Theirs a reason you are allowed to adjust your eye point, to match your system setup. It's also a very good enhancement. -

So go back to a Tir method of just moving view points compared to the new method of moving a head in an actual 3D dimension no thanks. Dev's please keep this new method it's god send make it optional thanks for those who see it another way. Big screen this makes a huge dynamic difference . -

It works perfectly fine some of you need to make curve adjustments in your trac ir software. Not everybody's screen size is the same. Also you can make eye point adjustments once done like I did I found it is a much better system. We have an actual head in the pit now. This is an enhancement not a bug. -

Yes of course, as you can in Dcs with new head movement. You have the ability to set your eye point how you want and honestly I don't keep the default fov due to my screen so I get more real state and see more. -

Yes I have sat in many of real pits. Like was said above adjust the curves of trac ir set it up perfect for me and I also brought my eye point down a couple clicks in the pit. Perfect. -
Ya your probably right when I did Nvidia 3D vision on my old tv scale was pretty good but in vr it did always kind of feel to small and stretched out at the same time.

Ok whatever my take on it is Ed is trying to give us poor trac ir folks a better physical head movement and more realistic head placement in the pit. Is it perfect not at first but make a few adjustments and in my opinion it is for me. I think it greatly enhances the experience in my opinion. -

You can also make the adjustments with the numpad keys like before aka tilt up or down with trac ir live and all set. It's like a big witch hunt in here seriously this is a way better method try it and actually figure it out and make some adjustments to you gain levels in trac ir program I did and this is rocking! -

Ed trac ir is now perfect after this patch. We actually have a head and please keep this. All it takes is a few adjustments for eye point and it's spot on perfect. Adding options for new and the bad old implementation would probably be a good idea. I think those of us who have used VR in Dcs can see how much better this method is with trac ir. Maybe it just works great for me since I have a 55 inch 4K screen. Either way I think it rocks and it's great having a head in the pit finally with trac ir! -

I find the new trac ir settings way better than the old ones. We now have a true physicality of our head in the pit. Flying is much more dynamic feeling now. Really feels like vr movement in a sense for trac ir. I think if people take some time and shift down your eye point you will find this works very well and much better than the old ways. Please keep this new method and if anything make an option in menu for old ways.
