  1. yeah the demo mission is outdated i had to go to github and work from there editing the new script you find there

  7. F10 GCI view is suffering from this bug as well, SA is really bad in 2.9 compared to 2.8, i played in Buddyspike with full ewr coverage and nothing appeared on GCI view
  8. G2 and 4090 user here. To me with the mod contacts that are mid to close range are way easier and so way better to spot and track. Totally a step in the proper direction and imho blocking this behind the IC is totally idiotic since it should be worked and iterated more into the base game before. As usual a member of the community was able to provide what ED wasn't able to. I hope this time we won't lose another member for the stubbornness of the guys in the command room, since many prominent members doing scripting for the community as the guys behind overlord bot and others already expressed their frustration toward ED management and jumped the boat
  9. Is DCS supposed to be a simulator or an arcade? Every step to make even CA more realistic should be done imho. There are a lot of people liking to simulate ground warfare and right now there are many stopgaps. If ED isn't interested or has not the resources to develop it to the next level, outsourcing ground warfare to some dedicated 3rd parties would be a really interesting way to go, with proper SAM modelling, MBTs, vehicles and why not... infantry. 3rd parties may have the dedication and time ED might not having atm considering how many projects they have to support

  11. I remember quite some time ago that developers of SAM simulator tried to get in touch with ED to add a more realistic layer for CA players who wants to manage various SAMs, sadly no other news were shared after that

  15. we are not reporting inability to climb even the gentlest slople when damaged, but even full health tanks aren't able to drive past those silly gradient. It's undenniable that those problems arose after AH64 release like it or not,let's hope a fix is coming in due time since as a customer is not good to be blocked using a module (CA) by another module i don't intend to purchase. I had many likes to my message so i'm not the only one being damaged by the release of apache. CA is being unusable since weeks especially for tank warfare in hilly terrain.Let's hope for a fix coming with next OB, patience is key in this times even if you need to run server with 60 people relying on CA performance
  16. indeed maybe NL was using a different internal version but the one that was released as latest OB didn't fix the Chieftain and Daimler scout car bug. Same for T72B3 being still not drivable.
  17. If you jump into an MBT Chieftain you can only drive it but you have no control on turret/gun

  21. hello! i have a problem with the script, the csar part works but i can't block slots and i need it for a mp mission. I've set csar.csarMode = 3 and csar.maxLives = 1 -- Maximum pilot lives but when in game even if i crash,lives are not deducted and i can respawn in any slot immediately
