DCS really needs multiplayer servers that run engaging missions all the time.
I do agree with Greg in that 24/7 blue flag would become stale eventually but it'd be a hell of a lot better than the servers available all the time currently, which are essentially Airquake in different flavours.
Don't even need mountains for the Mirage, it's straight up maneuverable enough to avoid missiles from pretty much any range if you know what you're doing.
Anything is viable if you're good enough in it.
I've seen (many) MiG 21s kill F-15s and even F-5s manage it too,
Mirage pilots can run rings around eagles if you can dodge slammers reliably
If you want to enjoy DCS find people to play with. It's like arma in the sense that it's trash on your own and there's literally like 1 good server maybe
I've been testing it just now and I did lock a target that was just wide of the HUD, whether this was down to my point of view or something else I'm not sure, I'll dick around with it more and see what I can find out.
Not necessarily. BFM still applies to 4th gen jet fighters, true if 2 mongos go at eachother and just perpetually turn then the best turner will win, but every plane will have an advantage in some regard over another.
I literally see no reason why the 104th or Open Conflict are goofy in any way.
This is will be an interesting round of blue flag because Blue are at a slight technical disadvantage for once, but instead of just cracking on they all just seem to be cracking up and bawling about it.
Time will tell I guess...
