Very true, but i would guess that decision would be made by the crew. These are the guys who fly the thing everyday, knowing the limits of the thing. It's amazing how much punishment aircraft can take and make it back in one piece. But yeah loosing a blade and causing such vibrations would probably make it unflyable.

I suppose the decision to try and make it back to base would depend on the situation. In that Apache footage, its a training mission so the safest thing to do is get it on the deck asap. Where as if you were flying in hostile territory you might have to take the risk.

The only plausible scenario i can think of would be a Russian invasion of Georgia. NATO units could then operate from Turkey over the boarder, to push back the Russian offensive. That way you could have Turkish units as almost a QRF to bolster Geogian forces until others arrive.

Fanastic mission m8, not quite completed it yet (Due to laser targeting bug). But i have to agree the music can be annoying, maybe cut it down to play only the 1st 10 seconds or something? Thanks for a great mission.

I have seen other posts similar to this, i myself have not been able to get a normal internet game to work. Try using Hamachi if its just a game between friends, works fine for me.

You say you dont want to use bands on the mini-stick, may i ask why? I have the X/Y axis set to bands of 0-40% 40-60% {Deadzone} 60-100% This method works perfectly for the Shkval slew, included diagonal slewing.

Yeah looks like I will have to do it in game. Its strange tho, like I said I've had it working before just using the SST software. If I do find a solution without remapping in game, will post here.

Hey guys, i'm hoping someone might be able to help me with a problem. I am trying to use the dual stage trigger in my profile for DCS:Black Shark. At the moment I have the 1st trigger set to "Space" {Fire Cannon} & 2nd trigger set to "Right Alt + Space" {Release Weapon}. The problem i seem to be having is that, i cant get the 2nd trigger to activate the key press if the 1st trigger is assigned. Now individually both of these work fine, but as soon as i assign both, the 2nd stops. I figure is because the 1st trigger is being pressed, but then not "un-pressing" when I activate the 2nd trigger. So in effect the key press is actually "Space + Right Alt + Space" which obviously mean the 2nd function wont work. Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong, or how i could get it work. I hope I have explained it clearly..... Also i might add that i have had this working before with no problems, as far as i can remember it was set up exactly the same way. P.S I'm using the new beta SST software, also i have posted this on the Saitek forums aswell. Any help would be most appreciated.

Aslong as you have the correct frequency - 127.500 and have the radio mode set to VHF2. Just press the "#" key. Hope this helps.

Don't i feel like an idiot just realised the situation i was in when this happened, i was kinda listening to Radio Maykop. :music_whistling: My fault, cheers for the reply anyway.

I'm not too sure why opening the port wouldn't work. But anyway, i would recommend downloading a program call Hamachi. Once a channel is created with this and the clients (you and friends) have joined the same channel. All you have to do is host a LAN game, as Hamachi create a virtual LAN network between the users. This may or may not work, but i host all my games for friends this way and have never had a problem. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, just wondering in MP what is the procedure for getting a wingman back on the datalink and showing on your ABRIS after a rcvr? While we're learning to fly etc rcvr is turned on, although i have managed to get the wingman label back on my ABRIS before. I cant remember how it was done, hope this makes sense lol. Cheers.

I believe trying that method, although u may be able to track your finger in game, i dont know how you would get the mouse click to be pressed. Unless you actually pressed another button to make the click, but that would defeat the point of the exercise. I dunno still looking into it all myself so that might be a load of codswallop :)

Are you guys using Vista? A friend of mine is having the same issue, i wonder if its OS related.

Easy fella, before you go off on one do a bit more research. It's true you only get a certain number of activations (8 i do believe). But when u eventually run out, just contact ED via e-mail with the relevant purchase information and they will give you a new keycode with more activations (or at least that was the way with Lockon).

Like everything else, practice practice practice. I must admit some good music on the radio makes the scenic nav practice flights and abris check flights much more enjoyable :)

Although this is more a techincal question, is there a way to get a debrief when finishing MP missions like there was on LOCKON? Great AAR btw :)

Just a quick question here, i do not own a Wii but would love to give this a go. Can you just purchase a Wii remote for this?

I would also like to know the way to include this in a mission, although i have managed to add my own music to the radio station, i cant seem to get sound on the frequency in any missions but yours. Would appreciate if you could let us know how to implement it. Cheers. EDIT:- Scratch that, figured out i was trying to pick up the radio signal in Georgia. Those big mountains called the Caucasus, might have had something to do with it. :)

Hey guys, just a quicky. Is it possible to have MP Clients as part of the same flight in DCS? I know i wasn't possible with LOCKON and you would have to create seperate flights. From what i've seen so far is the same with DCS, which is a shame. I was kinda hoping they might have solved it, would just like confirmation. Cheers.
