  1. Its an indication that you have a notification, i.e to check your EO Timer or an incoming message. Just TMS Left Short to get rid of it.
  2. So to summarise the summary, sorties consist of overwatch for ground forces, dropping PGM and strafing. I just wish a show of force worked against those pesky russians ;) Thx for the link though.
  3. So simple :music_whistling: Cheers mate.
  4. Hey guys, i have a question regarding the loading of a TER with 3xAGM-65D. This is for when i am rearming mid-mission. So far looking at the DSMS INV page i can load a TER onto the correct pylon, then add a single AGM onto that. I notice there is a QTY value on on OSB 5 on the Maverick Inventory page. I'm guessing this is used to select the quantity of missiles i want to load onto the station. If this assumption is correct, then i would want to load 3 onto the TER. If i am along the correct line with the above method, how do i go about changing the QTY value on OSB5 from the default 1 to 3? If i am totally looking at this the wrong way, could somebody please enlighten me to the correct procedure for re-loading a TER into the DSMS. Thankyou in advance for any help.

Received mine this morning, very very nice. Cheers dude!
  6. Sneaky :) Luckily when printing mine out the boss took a keen interest then started reading it  Really didnt do too much more work after that.
  7. Torrent active, will seed for a week or so. Cheers ED
  8. Very nice CAT, loverly landing. ILS is the one downfall in my flying atm, gonna practice all day today (after the footy :)). Thanks for that vid, helped alot.
  9. If this is serious i would definatly like to see an in depth ILS approach. I'm having so much trouble finding the glideslope atm.
  10. Agreed ^^ give em hell... :) Personally i found the Su33 ILS system on Lockon to be very good with the HUD indication for speed/alt. Was possible to do zero vis carrier landings (i appreciate the FM in lockon wasnt as realistic as we have now, but if th RL system is similar then its very well designed.

  12. I use the TM Warthog on my desk without a problem (left and right of keyboard), wouldnt trade it for the world. Love this HOTAS sooo much.
  13. Dont think you can, once cancelled it goes away. The only way to mark the point again would be to bring up the JTAC 9 Line and enter the coord manually.
  14. Said this in another post but...... A easy way is to check if the canopy makes a sound on Opening/Closing
  15. Cannot answer that question, but i'm not sure if it will even be compatible with FC2. As for BS i would imagine they will patch it once most of the other little bugs have been ironed out of A10C. If your friends have BS, what is stopping them buying this? I'm sure you've told them how good it is, but keep trying.
  16. I have never tried this but off the top off my head, what about flying as best you can with a head/tail wind into the target, to reduce the amount of lateral correction?
  17. See if the canopy make a noise when opening/closing :)
  18. I'm sure there is no kind of "cut out" for altitude. I regularly perform ALT hold orbits at Angels 20+.
  19. Ah well no worries.
  20. On the subject of the Chop Test, is the 70% figure taken from the RL limits? In the sim my core RPM goes to about 75/80% during the test every time.
  21. Aslong as you have a cap knocking about, yeah you will be able to use it. All the clip does it provide the camera something to reflect off. So in theory you could just mount the baseball cap clip, to sayy the top of your headphones, aslong as it is stable enough. EDIT:- You will have no problem wearing headphones over the cap, aslong as the top reflector is not covered by the headset band.
  22. I would say the easiest way are using the markpoints. Do your recce of the area mark up all the targets you wish to prosecute with the mav's. Then on your attack run just simply switch between each markpoint. Aslong as they are all in the seeker range... firing each mav is then as quick as you can cycle the markpoints and get a lock.
  23. Your best bet is to get the IR Camera view up on the TIR software then just play around with diff positions until you find somewhere that doesnt loose track until the very edge of your movement. I too use the "track hat" and have had similar problems to you. I solved it (i say solved it, its the best i am going to get it without the pro-clip) by placing the TIR unit above and behind my monitor, thus increasing the distance between them. I have a corner unit, so luckily i can place the TIR unit in various places on a shelf that's a couple of inches above my monitor height. Also make sure the reflective strips on the hat clip are looking directly at the TIR unit, i have to have the hat slightly back on my head to make sure they line up correctly.
  24. Please refer to my above post:- Doing this requires no external or otherwise solutions with using the HOTAS with TS3. Just make sure the switches are in the correct positions before assigning your key press.
