Oh nice, MR oh CRACKER! Looking forward to working with more Mi-8 pilots now that I have this thing.
-
It's not TK, it's collateral damage
-
Yes winchesterdelta1, I derive my fun from dropping the nuke to take out my foes, and friends a like. Small disclaimer here. I don't own the Mig-21. I'm just pointing out the holes in your logic.
-
Really? Can I have the nuke on the 21 then?
-
You're the GCI, so you dictate the frequency flights should be on. If they want a GCI, then they'll tune in. If not, then ignore them.
-
+1 and just want to note, this is testing, so I would like to try these changes. They of course don't have to be kept if it doesn't work out, but then it would give more data on what we could try next.

I think you took it too far with the statement "People are so caught up in things being far. Nothing in war is fair." If you really feel balance isn't important, then you really should have to fight against the full arsenal Red can employ. You're pretty much fighting the AI as it is. If the numbers don't change that could be all that's left. I chose to fly the Red side because as usual the Blue side stacked. If those of us who would like to fly Blue join up, then you, and I really will be fighting the trees, breeze, and rain. I've already resigned myself to the notion BuddySpike will do nothing for team imbalance, and I'm not talking about weapon restrictions. Until you get rid of the messages broadcasting our every move, and the multiplayer slot selection screen giving away our area of operation (yes, an ED problem I know), so we can't be counter picked.... well, the team with numbers Redfor draws at best will maybe defend an airfield.

No problem gents, glad I could help. Thanks everyone!
-
uh–huh? Tell me more? Oh wait, don't!
-
I didn't understand you? What did you want to say?
-
I'm sorry, did you say something?
-
I was simply stating the likely hood of these two aircraft being operationally ready before their service date due to their history. You probably haven't read anything about it. Looks like we don't agree after all. You don't care about balance. You simply want your cake and eat it too. It's pointless engaging in a conversation with you.
-
You finally said something I agree on. Everyone is playing this for fun whether they like to think it or not. As for the "MUST BE 100% REALISTIC TO LIFE" crowd. I want things to be realistic as well, but within a balanced scenario. Restricting weapons doesn't make it any less realistic because the tools you still have are modeled as realistically as possible at this current time.

I'm pretty certain the Ka-50 was ready for combat deployment long before its service date. It was ordered, canceled, ordered, canceled, etc... for quite some time due to political, and economic issues Russia was having. You can bet the Ka-50 in service is far more capable than the Ka-50 we're flying around in which is more than likely one of those 1980's test bed aircraft. I would wager the Su-25T is in the same boat.
-
This is why it needs to go, but adding better AA defenses would probably achieve the same affect. Basically something to slow them down.

Would it be possible to have SA-3's along with the SA-8's to protect the bases? This would make it a bit more challenging for an A-10C instead of them being able to wipe a base out without ever putting themselves in harm's way. On the flip side the SA-3's don't pose a threat for the attack choppers which is why the Gecko's should be kept in. It's really hard to approach these as a chopper without them firing on you.

Not in this case. He's speaking of Blue Flag, and right now there aren't any active missiles, so if the missile is defeated by chaff, then they'll be no reacquiring. Right now missiles are buggered up pretty hard, so I think a simple bug report of "fix the missiles" will suffice, but then I think that's been on the list for 20 years, and with each patch we keep getting these amazing results. Maybe we should tell them the missiles are perfect, so they can break it in the other direction.

You need to request an admin to do this for you. They are Xcom, Greg, Ciribob, and Crash. For team changes they follow the forums on http://www.buddyspike.net closet from what I can tell.

Everyone should have received a PM with their key from me. If you didn't please contact me.
-
Yep, we're all done. You'll be getting a PM from me shortly.
-
Yes, I've switched my frequency on the 104th a couple of times to avoid being in the same group as others.
-
You only have to be on the same datalink frequency. By default this is 124.000. St3v3f describes the correct procedure for storing and sending. To receive simply select send mem.

We have a severe lack of chopper pilots on Redfor (especially transport). If anyone owns the Ka-50, or Mi-8 module, but doesn't know how to fly them, and this is keeping them on Bluefor please contact me. I'm willing to train. Bluefor just isn't getting enough 3M9M in their daily diet.

Be sure to make a post about these changes when you get them into testing. I want to jump on it. Also, CSAR? I'm going to make you hate this word. :D
