Well I'd assume hastily built runways in modern times (80s-2000s) would be built with similar constraints... I don't think its out of the realm of possibility. The C-17, C-130, etc. were built with short, unimproved fields in mind

I think the dirt runways in Normandy are just acting like concrete runways... would be nice to have a re-texture though

Starway, Barthtek, Mustang, or any of you awesome terrain gurus... any chance we could get a mod for modern runways and taxiways we have in place of the dirt in Normandy? Would like to fly modern jets off proper pavement! Thanks!

Hey all, was wondering if someone could give me a hand, but I'd like to uninstall the 1.5 open beta from my hard drive. I'd prefer to just keep 2.1 and the 1.5 stable release, and just wait for them to be updated from now on. I tried to use the updater to manually 'uninstall' but it didn't seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

That's an interesting idea... I suppose you could create different groups that activate/deactivate based on what units are spawned, but it would be server wide - so combined east/west ops wouldn't work so much.

Loving the map!!! Even inspired me to make my first skin for the F-15. Making scenarios around "what if" the southeast asian conflict drew on for several more years or broke out again a few years after it ended...

Is there anyone who could give me a hand and convert a the "f15_nose_spec.bmp.dds" file into a bmp, or psd, or something usable? I've got a nice skin I'd like to finish, but it requires a glossy nose, so I'd like to adjust the spec map to make her shine! Thanks in advance...
