I thought I remember reading in an update that stated the map was going to be updated with period-correct paved runways. Just curious what the status of this was and which airfields are going to get the treatment? Thanks!

The way I'm spoofing that now is by reducing the internal fuel to match the takeoff weight I would assume with fuel, weapons, and empty tanks. Not ideal, but it works for now...

So the easy fix for this, is disengage your parking brake as soon as you spawn in. It seems even though the handle position is "set" it's not holding once you spawn in. As soon as you unlock it, you don't move. Not idea, but an easy fix for the time being

Curious... has anyone gotten clarification on what the "improvements to the level of detail and lighting" in NTTR are exactly?

If there's a discord then there need to be separate blue and red channels that are locked to the other side. Would be good for coordinating attacks, times to get on, and would keep a lot of that cross-contamination spam down.

The A-10 has different launch rails for single Mavs vs triple. If you can restrict to the single rail than you can restrict the plane to 2 Mavs. Not sure how to do it to the Viggen, but then again the Su-25 is more of the counter to the A-10, and that has "guided" missiles

You think he has internet service in the Gulag? From what I heard there was an instrumentation failure that the pilot decided to abort past V1 for. Obviously the wrong choice

Auto countermeasures are one significant reason, I’d say. I appreciate the pure 80s feel of the scenario, so it’s possible the Harrier in the form we’re getting it isn’t a great fit, but I’d trade mavs on the A-10 for the LGBs on the F-5. Don’t get me wrong, I love the GBUs, but they aren’t era correct and right now, it’s more efficient for a flight of F-5s to work a FARP with a JTAC than for the A-10s to love the mud. That said, I love the NTTR version of BF. Even if it doesn’t change it’s still my favorite server, by far

You could restrict the TGPs and JDAMs to bring it more in line with the other units available. It would be a good counter to the Viggen. Maybe replace the A-10A? If not the A-10 could use a pair of Mavs.

Took the Tiger out on a solo run on the NTTR Blueflag Server. I'm using an Oculus Rift, hence the extreme head tracking, and forgot to record comms so its subtitles and music for you all! Enjoy!

I wanted to reach out to the community and ask if anyone had any knowledge as to if you could override the server settings on a track replay to use F2, F3, etc views for content creation. I had a very nice sortie on BlueFlag the other day, and would love to add some cinematic elements to a video. Luckily, the track records head movements, so I get the "GoPro" effect of wearing a Rift, which works nicely for the in-cockpit shots... Any help is appreciated, I suppose the other option is to try and recreate it separately in the mission editor, but that's going to take some time, I think.
