I saw over 1,000 players online during the server test. Yes, 270 were server admins, but even so, I hope this helps prove that multiplayer is worth investing in and improving. Think about how much higher those numbers could be if it were more user friendly and accessible?

I think all the topics you touched on are correct to one degree or another, but when tweaking the FM, it's important not to go overboard on the effects. I mentioned this on another forum, but it's important to keep in mind that this doesn't have much more horsepower than your Cessna, and with not a ton more prop inertia. While the airframe is lighter and thus more susceptible to the effects of torque, P-factor, etc, it's not going to be a "holy crap" wild ride. Its a gentleman's aerobatic aircraft. The absence of accelerated slipstream on the tail control surfaces was the first thing I noticed, but didn't kill the experience for me. I'm excited for any tweaks they make, but on first impressions, it passed the sniff test to me.

Its an AWESOME module. So analog and demands your full attention for the entire flight. If you ever have the chance to fly it in VR, I hope you don't get claustrophobic!

I made this last night, but used a combination of in-game and other sound. As you can see, though, there's no lock indication, but the missile guides just fine:

For some reason, I can't get a yellow dot or lock at the bottom, do I need to turn the weapon system on, or is it buggy in the current build?

Been trying out CA a little bit and wanted to play around with human controlled MANPADS. For some reason I'm not getting any lock tone or indication while using the Stinger or Igla. Should I be? If so, how do I activate the weapon system. I am able to shoot and the missile tracks, but no lock indication or tone

So is there a middle option for those who use a Virpil base? I currently use a Warthog grip with a VPC base. That base controller and software CAN detect axes on the grip, so the DLC switch should function normally, provided the mounting hardware is compatible. It’ll be a day-1 purchase for me, if so

Yes... you're just telling DCS the name of the file you're replacing "fus_front" with, I believe

I’ve used grimes’ script to great success, but they don’t shut their radars down when attacked. One of the core premises behind SEAD is the SUPPRESSION of the radar. Getting the bad guys to shut the radar down is just as much a mission success as killing it.
