Is there a setting that will let me turn off those tooltips that pop up when my mouse is browsing the forums?

How can I switch from button to Axis 'in game'? On my VKB MkII Pro I can hold the center button down for more than 2 seconds to switch to button and axis.. Is there a way to do this with this throttle? ALSO; I just updated SimAppPro from v1.4.6 to 1.4.16. And now the Throttle Hats 1 & 2 do not have a 'Switch Mode' button in the app. How do we switch those from button to Axis now???

Is there a SimShaker thread on any MSFS forums? EDIT: I know SimConnect has FPS Issues, but I just want to get it connected for later. I turned on Dev Options in MSFS and downloaded the SDK. I didn't select any other features, I just ran the SDK and clicked Install. Started up MSFS and SimShaker loaded up automatically. But SimShaker still says SimConnect Status: X. What else do I do? Does SimShaker/SimConnect rely on any paths to the game? I installed on my D: drive for both MSFS and the Steam Install.

Ok, the other day I decided to move the folders to My Documents on F: drive and I didn't get the error at all. So I 'copied' it back to D: again. So now I had 2 Contexts. And I created a new one too. So that's 3. As you can see below, I 'File/Opened' all 3 and did not get any errors. Then I selected them from the 'File/Recent contexts' and also received no error. Then I selected each one from the DropDown box and did not receive any errors. So it's weird. I would just forget it until it happens again? Could be an ownership problem of the folder? IDK.. I think I found it.. It was Simple Radio.. SRS. But I'm not sure.. I noticed that all of the files it kept replacing on C: were something to do with speech/radios.. I had not used SRS for a long time, but I ran it today and installed the latest version.. Last time it was used DCS was on the C: drive. Maybe the Export Plugin was doing this? After I ran SRS it may have fixed the path to D: and fixed the problem? So after that I did a repair a few times and Ran DCS fine. It didn't create the files again on C: However I think I had that new DCS bug with the new Updater.. because it kept displaying a list of files that it said should not be in the '...\DCS OpenBeta\_downloads' folder. So I deleted them and did a repair again and no message. Anyhow I'll see if it's fixed for good.. time will tell..

I searched and read that it was ok to just move the DCS World folder to a new location/drive if you just update the paths in the shortcuts. That all works fine and DCS runs fine. But it keeps creating these folders in the old folder on the old drive: Mods Scripts Sounds I searched inside all of the files in the DCS folder for the path C:\My Programs\DCS World OpenBeta, which was the path on my old drive where these folder keep being created after I delete them. I only found it mentioned in the autoupdate_log.txt and autoupdate_log_old.txt. I also searched my registry for any reference to the old folder location, and only found this, which I updated to the D: drive where it is now.. But this does not reference the folders above. Awesome work Sedonion! I'm testing this out on some 'test' folders to try and figure out how this works. If you could give an example of how you would set it up for DCS it would be very helpful to understand this Context/Packages design. I used my 'test' folders and some mods that I copied over to test it yesterday just once. I only created a 'Context', but not the 'Package' yet.. Then today I use the File/Recent menu to reopen it again, and I received this error about the Backup Folder is missing?? But as you can see, it is clearly there.. (see pic below) So, maybe I set something up incorrectly? Again, an example of a DCS setup would help.. I don't understand the Context/Package design yet. - - - - Also, if I Start the Context Creation Wizard and type in a Title, then click Cancel.. Then I start the Context Creation Wizard again, it will not let me click 'Next'. It gives me the error "Invalid Context title", and I cannot proceed to the Next page. (see pic below) EDIT: Also, (I don't know if this would work?) is it possible for you to .zip up your DCS Context; Package; and sample folders so we could open it in OMM and see how it is setup/designed? I just got and setup my new WinWing FA18 Super Taurus throttle and love it. But there is one thing that seem strange. On the Right Throttle Grip, the 3-Way Switch, on the bottom (above the last push button) Is a Momentary button if you push Up. But if you push it back to center, OR Down, it stays in that position. This 3-Way Switch is designated as #3 in the SimAppPro software diagram, and returns as button18; button19, and button20 in the list when pressed. Is that the Airbrakes? And if so is that normal??

I had to replace 2 HDDs on my system, and also had to restore DCS from a 5 week old backup. So before I run anything I am wondering if I am going to lose more module Activations... I read the Sticky post "Sticky: We are now Keyless". All it says is you no longer use Starforce. But what does that mean to me? Do I still have to De-Activate all of my modules or loose one of my Activation Keys? Are there any new or other rules about installing/uninstalling we need to know? Waiting for a reply before I launch DCS.. I cannot afford to lose any more activations. :cry: Thanks, Snacko

No, I wasn't worried. It came the next day. But it went from china to japan to Hawaii back to Japan, then to LA, Memphis and Columbus, Ohio, then my house. There was one minor problem with it. The USB on the base was not in the hole, and I couldn't plug it in. But I fixed it by loosening the cover and twisting the box a little as I put the cover back on.
