Just wanted to post the solution to get English Radio calls for Russian Aircraft. The only real working solution is to add those aircraft to the USA (or other English countries) in the script database so they use the country's native language. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1895645&postcount=5 I just did this for the Su-25t and it works great. It probably won't work for MP though..

1) It still works. But it's not being developed further. 2) Yes, you can build your own if you know how to do it. Capt Zeen build most of his profiles after development stopped. He figured out how to get dials/gauges to work. And control switches. But you can always do simple stuff like send keystrokes from a Helios profile. Make a cockpit, and when you touch/click on a switch it can send the game's keystroke... That is fairly easy compared to what Capt Zeen has done.. 3) No in-depth tutorials. But I used these to figure it out.. Just go to Youtube and search for Helios Tutorials. To send keystrokes to a game, you need to 'Add Interface', and add the keyboard. Then for a switch select the Output tab and set the keystroke.

Introducing the VKB-Sim ‘Modern Combat Grip’ (MCG)
Snacko replied to rrohde's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
Ok, now I'm starting to see... Today it's been changed from: Expected availability: May 15, 2018. To: Expected availability: End of May, 2018. -
Here's a pic..

I don't know how to turn it all off. I have the VIACOM Pro plugin for VoiceAttack. And he has an option to turn off the radio menu and voice comm text on the screen I think. Maybe Ask Hollywood about it? PS: All of the text that is drawn on the screen is drawn on invisible square panels. I supposed if you resized them all to very tiny you would not see them?

Do you have WinRar? https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

I'm not giving up. I guess it's a small company and can't tie up a lot of cash in expensive inventory yet. Other posts were talking about a container shipment on it's way last week I think. It's coming.. Just takes patience. Once you have the goods you'll be happy. (except for the profile editor.) -
Oh, you mean the FPS toggle! Yes I have modded that to a larger font. I have a triple screen and for some reason I didn't like it. I'll see if I can find it.. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

That clock? I didn't even know it existed. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

I though you were talking about a key on the keyboard.. I also tried to assign a joystick button for the first time yesterday and it assigned ok. But it would not press the TX4 command. Please post back your findings. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

That sounds like a Voiceattack problem. Try posting it on their forums. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

I just bought my Gunfighter MkII MCG, And it does not do that at all. Something sounds wrong with yours. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk -
What he said. When you are in the 'VIACOM PRO for DCS World' profile, click the notepad icon to edit. Add a 'When I say' phrase. You can add more than one phrase if you separate them with semicolon("Lower Gear; Gear Down"). You can also add optional words in brackets("Lower [landing] gear; Gear Down [please]") ** All you need is the keypress. Playing sound files is optional. Set the Category to something like 'My Commands' for all of your personal commands. This will keep them together in a group. (You can even export your group and import it later if this VIACOM Pro profile is updated. ** (Read the section 1-Command Input on page 17 of the manual) FYI, here is an example from an Elite Dangerous profile that I purchased. You can see it can cover so many variance of a phrase. The example is just to show how the syntax looks. If something is not working, try adding an extra semicolon; [deploy;lower;retract;raise;] [landing gear;docking modules;landing modules]; [docking;landing;] [gear;modules] [down;up]; [raise;lower] Gear

When I press the 4 key for the TX(AUTO), there is a 1/2 to 1 second delay before it starts listening. If I just press the VoiceAttack PPT key that I have assigned, it starts listening immediately. Is there an way I can fix this? I just downloaded the latest vaicompro.dll, but that did not help.

Introducing the VKB-Sim ‘Modern Combat Grip’ (MCG)

Thanks, I did read that. I also read Chapter 8 (Macro Setup). It was difficult to understand. But I don't see any way to tell the keyboard to press a key down. And then release the same key. It just seems to repeatedly send the keys. And my speakers mute and un-mute over and over. I will read that section of the manual over again and keep trying.. But an example .mcr Macro file would be very helpful. [emoji6] EDIT: It seems that a Toggle button would work best because it presses and stays pressed util I release it. And it doesn't repeat. But I need to press 2 keys, and it only supports 1 key. And I could press 2 keys using a Macro. Except that a Macro doesn't allow the use of a Toggle button. It seems that I can beat my head against a wall for a long time, and not many people know how to use this software effectively. And the manual is like a mechanical engineering reference, not a 'user' manual. Very frustrating trying to do simple things. Also, I tried using the Audio item to Mute my speakers, but it doesn't work at all. That would be helpful if it worked. -

Has anybody setup Keyboard buttons to send keys for external apps like Teamspeak, Simple Radio, and Voice Attack? I have an x55 and don't use a headset, so all the audio comes through my speakers. On my x55 I have a macro that presses down a key to mute speakers and another key for PPT for Teamspeak. The keys stay pressed as long as I keep holding the button. I cannot figure out how to do this in the VKB Dev Config tool..:mad::joystick: (And I don't want to bind joystick buttons because I also want to keep my x55 using the same commands. And you cannot bind 2 joysticks to 1 command in some of these apps.) -

[How To] Export ALL Indicators like MFCD via ViewPorts
Snacko replied to icemaker's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I have not used them in a while, so I just tested them in the released version 2.5 and they all work fine. See my attached pic.. So, I am not sure what you are doing wrong.. Are you sure that you are doing all of this? Enable the Export mod in the game folder. Use the export.lua file in the Saved Games\DCS\Scripts folder. Set your game Resolution to the correct size. Setup the Viewport names and X,Y coordinates in your MonitorSetup .lua file. Select your MonitorSetup .lua file in the Game Settings / Monitor. That's pretty much it. Send me a PM if you want more help. Snacko -
[How To] Export ALL Indicators like MFCD via ViewPorts
Snacko replied to icemaker's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
Do you have the mods installed that make the cdu and rwr able to export? You must have had them before.. Only then can you add them to the MonitorSetup. Lua files. See my download link above.. -
You should pm Capt Zeen. He gave a friend some help on his MiG 21 Helios profile. (It's awesome BTW!) And got all the Gauges working. He doesn't have the AV8B, But maybe he can get you Started in the right direction? Or if you gift him a Harrier maybe he'll write the export.lua code? Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

I'll try that next time I'm in VR. In real life I never hold anything 5 inches from my face to read it. I have tested this mostly in the A10c, and if it were the distance of the cockpit it would be much better. But 5 inches in front of your face is far from the cockpit. And now Oculus is broken. It failed on an update and so I tried to uninstall it to reinstall it. Now it's not uninstalled, and it's not listed in the list of apps, so I cannot uninstall it. OR Support is stumped. I am starting to think the OR software is a POS after that last update/patch fiasco and now this stupid stuff. Plus they don't support Steam very well. My next VR may not be OR. Anyhow... a little OT..

Actually I think I had it backwards. I think that the messages are too close. Double vision would indicate that the object is very close and I am focusing past them. Just hold your finger in front of your eye and focus on anything else. It's like the messages are 5 inches in front of you. Or something like that.. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

Totally Agree! Just got my GF Mk2 MCG and am looking for a video tutorial on the VKBDevCfg program. That thing looks very powerful, but it needs a video for sure!! Is there any video tutorials for that thing??:cry::cry:
