  1. crazy F16 video
  2. forgot to add - full size handle and properly modeled command rod/wires movement would help. But there is this gray area, where only feeling the forces and the movement of the commands and general feeling of the energy state of the airplane and its behaivour would come near to real flying. Its that "flight sim realism" debate.... cheers!
  3. I know that, I flew jet from the 60's in my air force days. What we need are long joystick rods.
  4. true. in order to overcome that, joystick should have curvature settings for multitude of speeds, say for every 15 km/h.

    Як-52 hype

LOL man, look it up :)
  6. contrary to popular presumption, russian and eastern designers in general, did quite extensive studies in area of instrument and cockpit design. They did excelent job within the parameters of what was main purpuse of the aircraft. The layout was very good, the quality unfortunately much less that.
  7. please use print screen or at least snipping tool :)

the level of details on Platypus is astonishing to say the least...
  22. it makes no sense in comparing RL with camera shots. For starters, eye works the same for everybody (more or less), whilst the quality of camera sensors varies dramatically. On top of that, the perception of light, especially during night is not the same for eye and camera lens and sensors. I wouldn't bet all my money on RL shots, rather on observation. Few years ago I had difficulties proving that bullets don't wiggle, that they appear so only on camera shots due to shaking and aperture settings of the camera. There were many who didn't believe me, although I shot considerable amount of 12.7mm rounds from the guns mounted on the aircraft :)

hmmm, this model update smells like we are getting it flyable :) wouldn't mind :) and it makes sense, as currently there are more western strike capable aircraft than eastern ones
