  1. For me it fires the 2 sidearm and the cannon at the same time. Selected from the stores page.
  2. Having the "wheel break axis" configured forces the "wheel break button" press to be selected all the time. Had to clear the wheel break axis to successfully configure the rest of the buttons.
  3. After flying about 30-40 minutes and going back to the tarawa, on the final transition to vertical flight, the water light and the comm 2 button flashed like when you press it but both did it several times a second and the aircraft hadn't enough power and crashed. I had this problem 2 times and the aircraft was at less 4000 lbs of fuel and with a TPOD and maybe a sidearm.
  4. I had a really bad freeze in windows yesterday. I checked the S.M.A.R.T. of the HDD and I have inteface CRC errors so I re-plugged the SATA again and the freezes in DCS are gone. The strange thing is that from all the games I play DCS was the only one with some sort of problem. If it weren't for the freeze in windows I would never find out. :thumbup:
  5. Track saves are useless. Whenever I used this feature it was always corrupted.
  6. I'm doing some testings and the stutters are still here :mad: I still have the exact same issue. The game is unplayable, 20-30 seconds ok and then CPU drops to 0% and game freezes for 2-3 seconds.
  7. 391.35 And I had 390 something from January I think. I didn't test for a long period of time but in the time I played the stutters were gone. I had this problem for several days so I'm sure it wasn't an external and occasional factor. Also it was the only game I had problems.
  8. Actually yesterday updated the drivers and the issue seems to be solved. I didn't bothered with the drivers before because it was woking fine when DCS was on beta, it all started when the game went live. The sttuters seem to be gone. Thanks.
  9. I'm having very annoying stutters. Every 20-30 seconds I have a freeze for 2 seconds. I have an I7 7700K, 16GB RAM, game is on SSD, GTX 1080. Tested in Caucassus, Mirage 2000C and MI-8 same results, no AI, single player. When the freeze happens the CPU goes to 0%, not temp related.
  10. This is really a must. Its difficult to locate targets without any reference.
  11. "Don't shoot!" It only happens with the rpg soldiers. Also the model of the insurgent soldiers shoot aiming to an incorrect degree but the bullets aim is correct.
  12. The Ground AI see through buildings and shoot like there's nothing in front of them. Tested in Caucasus 2.5.0.15365 In general the AI needs A LOT of work

  15. Game mode is just that, the arcade version without physics. The mode is already in game. At least I remember the Ka-50 had it a few years back.
  16. Why use another trainer? If you crash you dont die and theres no economic loss neither. I never understood why buy a trainer in a simulator game. Im not against it entirely... but I will not buy it.

    LOL, I thought exactly the same, I was hoping for more info on 2.5 and the F/A-18 and also waiting for improvements on the mission editor since years now. Why, why, WHY....!

    There's no point to have trainers in DCS. You cant die if you crash on a game and it will cost $0 to respawn.

  20. Its no secret the Mission Editor needs a lot of love. I would like to have new (and more) buildings, factories, and general statics with improved detail. The ammount we have atm is really low. We have like 1 armed house, 2 factories, and a few general buildings which are simple boxes and containers. -I was thinking in having the new models of the buildings of the new maps available -About 6 different factories -Sea ports and docks -Embassies -Government buildings -Gas Stations -Power Stations These objects will vastly improve the quality of the missions and the variety. Also the possibility to add roads and rails will be great!. If theres somthing that takes away too much time when designing new missions is the placement of things the way you want, distance, orientation, ground inclination... A 3D mission editor would fix this. For example the mission editor of ARMA III, is one of the best (if not the best) mission editors. You can see EXACTLY what you're placing and how and you don't lose time loading the map each time you need to see how you placed everything.

    I would love to have an F-15E but I think it would be the most complex aircraft in DCS. I think it would be like merging the F-18C and the F-14A/B. It would have the most modern weapons and sensors plus the WSO. A dream I hope it comes true someday.
  22. You get overwhelmed because you try to learn everything at once, you don't need early access for that. You dont need to know how to drop dumb bombs to fire an amraam or maverick. To be honest I'm really tired of today standards of realeasing Early Access for anything. I know this is not the case with Eagle Dynamics but 90% of the games with early access end up beeing unfinished or really bad developed. Thats why I don't buy early access anymore. I repeat this is not the case of ED, we know they make quality products and probably have the highest standards in simulations. Am I going to buy the F/A-18C Early Access? probably yes, I've (we) been waiting for this plane for years now. I still don't understand why the early access will come without precision bombs and agm-65.
  23. I meant 90% of the weapons and sensors will come after the "Early Access". Thats still an Early Acces for me :music_whistling: and knowing the speed of development of ED, I think I'm not so mistaken. But one way or another this is the best time of DCS since the release of the A-10C. Looking forward to 2.5, F/A-18C, F-14, F-4 and AV-8B :pilotfly:
  24. It looks like the F-18 is going to be in early access for another 5 years.
  25. Soo, what about the data-link? I couldnt find it in the manual (I know its WIP)
