  1. I laughed at this comment. In any other sim, a launcher would be enough...... Knowing the complexity of this puppy however I wouldn't be surprised if you DID need all units of a site linked correctly in order to get it to work!
  2. Yep, in Foxy just program what-ever-button for the two views. One press = 2 "clicks"! I don't have Foxy at work, but I think it's something like: /T down_view (space) Shkval/ABRIS_view /T view_reset
  3. LWin + NumPad gives you close up snap views of different cockpit panels. LWin + NumPad 2 is a close up of the Shkval and ABRIS...... and combine those two together in your hotas and you're laughing
  4. Mr Wags sir, thank you for the reply
  5. ....and remember if using another device for rudders (a steering wheel for example; to use its accelerate / brake as a rudder) to turn off force feedback as it interferes with trimming.
  6. I love Fallout 3. No matter what people say, it IS Oblivion with guns. This is a GOOD thing ;) So Blackshark. Is it LOCKON with helicopters? Yes yes, I know people will jump in but basically apart from the clickable pit it is. I LOVE IT. Honestly I do. BUT, having just played the second campaign mission in the UK version, I am very disappointed with the fact that as my rockets were in the air to kill the last insurgents, I failed the mission. Fair enough, I didn't respond in time. My fault. Should have flown VERY close to the convoy instead ot zipping around the patrol box:music_whistling: No worries thought I....I'll be flying another mission now because of the branching campaign. NO NO NO, I now have to fly the same mission again!!!! Is this a PS3 "game"???? I feel as if I want to save my flight every 10 mins just incase I muck up somewhere! Please tell me the extra campaigns that came with the international release DO have branching campaigns, or that at least I can edit and jump into campaign mission from the editor? I really have no desire to fly to the trigger point. Land and fast froward time to wait for the convoy to be ambushed :P I know we won't be getting Falcon's dynamic campaign, broken or not but not having an enjoyable campaign is really going to shorten the lifespan (for me) of this otherwise top notch simulator. Thank for any replies, Mr.R.
  7. Case closed....it was a RT faq answer (got it from SimHQ)!!!!! My force feedback was on for the steering wheel. Edited the producer file and voila. Now, WHY was trim working in the training flights but not in any other? That's why I thought I had a bizare problem!!!! If it didn't work at all I would have KNOWN I had trouble. Hey Ho.:P:pilotfly:
  8. Thank you groove. Checked T in game already. Checked joystick AND T key in keyboard setup to make sure it's assigned correctly. Thing is, the trim works in training missions. I must be missing a setup option or something.
  9. Bump. :helpsmilie: I am still not able to trim with anything other than a hijacked training mission. Any pointers on what i'm doing wrong? I know it's an obvious mistake somewhere.... My hand aches like hell having to keep the stick pushed in all the time  thanks again for any helpful replies:thumbup:
  10. I too, for the life of me couldn't find the axis commands in the drop down menu. A search on these forums pointed me in the right direction. I DIDN'T alter any files (i'm sure of it) but I just can't understand how I could have missed the red writing!!! :music_whistling:
  11. Good morning everybody. My first post I believe in these forums and I hope it isn't the OBVIOUS rtfm / search forum question it sounds like it could be from the title :music_whistling: Now then, if I take over and fly the Combat employment / weapons training mission; trimming works TOTALLY as advertised. Push stick, press trim and let go, stick stays in the same place :pilotfly: However, if I fly a made up mission trimming just doesn't work :( I start powered up on the runway. I take off and it plain just doesn't work! ; Start off in flight and trimming isn't working. In the Ed missions (if I remember rightly) it DID work at the beginning of the mission, and then at some point it stops. I don't know if it was after launching some missiles, or playing with the autopilot.... So the Eternal questions is: Which 1 small sentence have I missed in the manual to get trim working? Are there paramiters that I have broken or a silly button I have missed? Works in the training mission, but not elsewhere....... I'm so paranoid i'm making it up, i've got Wags' voice from the training mission playing in the background even as I type, having tested the trim in that mission :P Thank you for any help, Mr.R EDIT: Well it's sunday so i guess it's going to be quiet!!! I have spotted that after taking over a training mission (when trim works) mouse look is on. Could that be a factor??? It's really intriguing me as to how it works in the training missions and nowhere else!!!
