I just wondered, would this option be of any interest at all?? Using the In Sim JTAC and CTLD version. The Mod is now available via the link below (My first of 2019): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CPSQBeBkTBK7HZuaAWHNFlYUBXusqMnS/view?usp=sharing Once unzipped, place in your Saved Games Folder: Users/YOUR NAME/Saved Games/DCS VERSION/Mods/Tech. The Ships can be located in the ME under "ARMOR" and can be placed on inland waterways too. They have limited armaments but they will fire back at you.....Please enjoy

Combining the use of the Helo embark/disembark options with CTLD JTAC functionality. I hope you find it useful.

Hi Baaz, You wouldn't need a JTAC crate for my method and as IRL you would have predetermined pickup and drop off points that can easily be set with a normal group of troops without the need for spawning and re-spawning. I kept my tests and usage simple but I will try and expand upon it area wise and see what I can come up with. Of course it will also depend on your JTACs survival during operations. I will indeed try and put a video together explaining my method, as it is too long winded to type here. Glad you are finding the videos useful. It's always great to receive feedback. Cheers.

Why not use a combination of CTLD JTAC and in game embark/disembark to a helo, that works for me. I can transport the troops and have them mark targets as they come across them.

I should Also add that the following airframes can also be used that I am aware of: F/A18C Lot 20 and YAK52 So that's a total of 13 in the current DCS stable.

Hi, Answer 1. This mod is an adaptation of a previous offering I was involved in, designed for the Harrier AV8B. As such the model cannot be changed I'm afraid. I simply adapted it to suit a wider range of applications and audience. Answer2. When you make a mod like this you automatically get the option of a static version. It has been designed to use as a ground vehicle option as that aids the build process and is my preferred method. Answer 3. I can't comment on the 190 or 109 as I do not own either airframe. The problem is that different aircraft seem to have the ability to safely come into contact with the mats collision shell and some don't. It appears to be module specific and potentially quite random. Answer 4. The simple answer is no but if you wish to refuel and rearm you will need to have the FARP version of the mat found in Statics-Heliports and the airframe will need to be in contact with it to complete the process. Answer 5. I know that the following airframes can be placed in conjunction with the Mat mod and ME route modifications: AV8B, Mirage, F86F, Spitfire and Spitfire CW, P51D, TF51 and All Helos. Nothing is perfect as we are bending the rules to add this functionality. Of course it would be fantastic if all modules were able to be included. Hi DrummerNL, There did not appear to be much interest in a new Gazelle campaign, based on the lack of feedback in this post, so I didn't post any further missions. I always start off campaigns with a natural build up to eventual engagements I feel that is more realistic and adds to the story telling. Cheers -

There is no bug its just that only certain aircraft have the undercarriage strength to be spawned on an object using the Spawn aircraft anywhere mod. The worst aircraft for this are the FC3 versions. Its a shame but thems the breaks. The AV8B can of course spawn at a FARP.

With the changes in the Place aircraft anywhere mod it can only apply to CLIENT or PLAYER aircraft. AI will not work at all. So in essence Spawn the AI in actual parking slots at the airfield in question and make the Mats Player Or Client only. Cheers.
