VR is actually very, very good right now, so saying so isn't fanboying, it's actually fair and honest comment. Buy it, enjoy it, flip it when something better comes along. Yeah, TIR cheater, sorry, users can twist their heads all the way to 6 O'clock. As for the low resolution argument: VR zoom blows that right out of the water. Monitors are just so sad.

Get an Oculus Rift.

Make it an option then sickly types can opt out. VR zoom makes some people sick but that’s still in there.

You can put the taskbar back after you finish with DCS. The pixel coordinates seems to work fine for me as long as the mirror is windowed.

Move the taskbar to the right side vertical and most of your issues are solved. Also consider having a trackball on your knee. Don’t forget you can use VoiceAttack to make the cursor appear anywhere you like by setting pixel coordinates.

I look at these VR hands as mere placeholders waiting for gloves. Using controllers is ridiculously clumsy so I don't think ED should prioritise this stuff just yet. Just my opinion.

That goes back to what I was saying about being able the right click by other means if you really want to use the Touch. But apparently workarounds aren't welcome.

I think we’ve all agreed that gloves are best. But as is usual with VR we have to wait but in the meantime it’s a question of the next best option.

NASA did experiments on this and found the head was most accurate, which makes sense when you think about it. Anyway right click does work. Once again it’s people’s Inability to adapt and overcome that holds them back. If you’re doing a ground start then you will be running through a checklist, so what’s stupid about using voice activation? Noting is the answer.

Head controlled mouse is the most accurate actually. I’ll wait for the gloves as the Touches are awkward and immersion breaking.

Unsuitable for what? I never use them in DCS as I have a HOTAS. Anyway, I just noticed that you can right click with the right Touch controller.

I have no commercial connection with VoiceAttack. There are, of course, other free voice recognition programs the OP could use to generate a right mouse click right now or he could just wait for official support for it. It might be a long wait. PS: do you mind not shouting?

I got a refund on flysky fs2 because the physics were so bad. You might as well have offered Google Earth as an comparison ...or an orange. I haven’t tried IL-2. I’m very happy with the A-10C in VR, although I’m continually told is unworkable, I don’t have any trouble with it on my 980Ti system.

Yes you can name other examples. Your feedback seems to be along the lines that ED have failed to procduce an optimized VR build. Is that about right?
