  1. You don't have a CV1?
  2. Works fine here in single player.
  3. Whenever I start getting glitches the first thing I do is repair the install. It's just a matter of good or housekeeping, so why not do this simple step and see if if fixes the problem?
  4. The hour glass suggests to me that you might want to repair your DCS install. Maybe also update you graphics driver.
  5. There's also the VR UI layer zoom that you can map to your HOTAS. Either way the 'I can't read the instruments' debate is dead now.
  6. I can read them fine. If you're near sighted you might need glasses though.
  7. I bet you wish you could afford VR though.
  8. I have found VA to be 99.999999% reliable.
  9. Track IR, now that takes me back. I got one in 2000. TIR, 3D glasses and iL2, great stuff but light years behind proper VR like we have now. I remember how people just couldn't work out in their heads how TIR worked. The principle of scaled head movement, which enabled the user to turn 180, check six and still look at the monitor, seemed far beyond their limited ability to understand such simple things. It was through that that I started to realise just how stupid the average person is.
  10. You should stop trolling the VR section. VR is already beyond viable, it has become totally essential, as in, many of us just wouldn't bother with the like of DCS if we had to use monitors and Trackir. I was using trackir and monitors back in 2000 but things have moved on since then. Also, your comments are rendered worthless by virtue of the fact you clearly don't understand how VR works. The moment you started scaremongering about skin infections you lost the argument. Yeah, lots of people are allergic to modern life, maybe you're one, but I think your case will only appeal to people who wear tin foil on their heads.
  11. You need to minimize all other windows. Simshaker still works when minimised.
  12. Try it on the right, i.e. it should be vertical up the right hand side of the monitor. All other windows should be closed or minimised. You should also alt+enter to full screen DCS.
  13. Drag the windows taskbar to the right side of your monitor. Windowed or alt+enter you won't lose focus from DCS again.
  14. VoiceAttack is the key that unlocks everything in VR.
  15. It should all work as in the real A-10 by default, with no need for profiles or the Target software. All you need to do is make sure all the control axis are bound properly and set the curves to how you want them. Then maybe set the Vr zoom to the joystick paddle.
  16. 'Skin and eye infection' what a load of tosh. Anyway, my optician, who's more knowledgeable than you, some1, wasn't concerned about negative long term effects of VR, probably because there aren't any. Sad to see so much scaremongering going on.
  17. That's how you do all your benchmarking in DCS is it? I also did the CAS mission, which would be a typical job for a pair of A10s to be tasked, that was smooth as glass too.
  18. Have to say that this seat has added so much to the VR experience, that I deliver it is essential kit. Thanks for the excellent service.
  19. I just did the Nevada weapons practice quick mission and all was fine. No stutters or anything, in fact I'd say it was as smooth as glass. Have you got a mission that destroys 2.1 in VR?
  20. I always fly from the correct eye position and readability is not an issue. Also, the HUD in the sim is accurate. In real life the pilots do in fact have to lean forward to see the entire HUD. Sorry to hear that you find leaning forward a bit, a bit 'complicated'.
  21. All your data proves is that your A10c test averaged 45fps which is perfectly playable.
  22. I will, it's working fine for me. Sorry your system can't handle it or is so poorly configured it can't handle it. Maybe instead of making absolutist statements, you should sort your PC out?
