  1. I can fight the A-10C without restriction in VR, so the idea that VR is unusable in VR is probably down to the individual player.
  2. So if I offer solutions and good work arounds you won’t be interested because I’m not happy about there not being an official printed manual? You best put me on ignore then.
  3. I'm not forgetting anything, I'm just more into solving problems than sniveling about them.
  4. I have a trackball on my knee.
  5. Lots of real aircraft have awkwardly placed switches but pilots seem to be able to manage. I never had a problem in VR with the A-10. There's even a VR zoom view you can use to get a close up. Doubles as a pair of binos for looking for targets too. Obviously VR is going to be a bit too realistic and challenging for a lot of armchair pilots.
  6. Go VR, it's truly amazing and awe-inspiring. The scale is amazing and it's just like being there. I had tIR when it first came out in 2000 and carried on with it until VR came out. It was great then, a quantum leap in flight sim realism and usability. Now, however, it's yesterday's tech and only good for a dumpster.
  7. Try turning V-Sync off.
  8. Best thing I ever did in terms of DCS was to sell mine and get a TM Wathog.
  9. Get VR.
  10. CA isn't a VR game nor sold as such, so if you bought in error thinking it was, it's your bad.
  11. Yepper. 13 isn't very knowledgeable about such things.
  12. Never done it, but the idea gives me a hard on. :megalol:
  13. A-10C and VR all the way. DCS is incredible but I just wouldn't bother without VR support.
  14. You can do this with VoiceAttack. Using a voice command you can get the mouse to appear roughly anywhere you want on the screen. And if you worked out the exact pixel location of every switch you could get the mouse to appear over any switch using a voice command.
  15. Have you raised the seat to the correct height for VR? The default seat height is way too low. I raise the seat, lean forward a bit then press NP5, that puts me in the correct position with only the real life HUD constraints mentioned by others to deal with. Basically, it's my strapping in procedure.
  16. Ok, that's good enough for me, I won't fiddle with it further. many thanks.
  17. Will check the Oculus calibration, white snow and yellow tint don't equal green so that's probably it.
  18. As above, as soon as I try to install my Nevada scenery the sim just CTD. Same with Flaming Cliffs. Any ideas would be very gratefully received.
  19. Try running it in BigScreen VR. It's amazing, just like being in an ops room with a massive tactical display.
  20. Thanks Buckeye.
  21. Anyone else getting a green tint though the front left and right quarter sections of the canopy? HUD section and the bubble part are fine. In the winter terrain the snow turns greenish.
  22. It's so the world scale is correct.
  23. Looks awesome value.
  24. No problem reading the SU-27 hud here. Are you sure you're looking through the sweet spots of the lenses?
  25. Go and fly at 20ft and see if you think it feels slow. Also, next time you're a front seat passenger in a car, narrow your FOV to that of the rift with your hands and you'll notice the reduction in FOV also reduces the feeling of speed you get from normal peripheral vision.
