Two Weeks until ....

For the price of a Phone and $100.00 USD You get a cool VR experence but it doesn't work with DCS. I have the Rift and It's awesome with DCS. (or Project Cars). Don't get me wrong, I like my s7, it's a great phone and Gear VR is cool for what you get but it's nowhere near Rift quality. (Neat games though). Expand ability and a beefier processor are a good reason to upgrade. I can't wait until the Touch come out and there should be some announcement later today.

I've been back and forth with the people over at Finch VR and it looks like they won't be in General availability production till later 2017. When I asked if they are in production: "Not yet, we are planning to do 1st shipments exclusively for developers at the end of 2016" When I asked about working with DCS out of the box they said: "FinchVR is using standard HID interface, so there is no doubt that it will work. But you should do a proper setting works." So in short, looks cool but no GA for a while. Need a virtual cockpit!

http://finch-vr.com/ Another hand controller, looks pretty interesting but not tested with DCS. Not sure if they are out of Kickstarter and have released any product yet but figured that you folks would be interested. Can't wait till Oculus touch comes out.

I use a Rift, Warthog and a mouse on my lap and I never want to go back to a screen. Occasionally I forget and try and close a door with my hand...:pilotfly::pilotfly::pilotfly:

:pilotfly:Got my 1080 on Thursday and the Rift on Friday, setup was less than 20 minutes and I did nothing just fired up DCS, it just worked. and OH MAN does it work! I was Flying the Vegas strip and it was enthralling. I can't go back to a flat screen now!:pilotfly:

WOW, Just did Vegas with the Rift. Awesome out of the box, have to adjust seating position as per Boxman's thread, when my son and I swap out. Expensive but worth it. Glad I pulled the trigger!

Big Disappointment. I was hoping for a Hornet HOTAS setup. Looks like they are chasing the console market, sadly.

Sweet, I really loved your Obutto Pit but this one is just amazing, great job! You have unfortunately for my wallet, got me obsessed with getting my own pit together. Who needs to retire anyway? Anyone have a need for a slightly used kidney?
