  1. Next course, Navigating and creating way points will be out later tonight!! Hope you enjoy! Then we'll land the beasty...
  2. So, last night I was able to place 8 Hornets and 8 Tomcats onto the Stennis. This morning I tried to do it again on a different mission and I can only do 4 aircraft on runway start and 4 on ramp. Tried on both PG and CA. Deleted and recreated the carrier.... any ideas?
  3. Next video should be out tonight. Finding the documentation identifying all the symbology on the screens was a little tricky :)
  4. Thanks for all the support! Next one coming very soon!
  5. ---------- I agree that does make sense now!! Thank you for clearing that up. lol. ---------- Yeah, that's why I didn't comment on it. I was trying to keep the video as short as possible as it was already 40min. In the end, it bit me in the ass and by the time I noticed it, I was too far in to start over. ------- I actually caught that I kept using the wrong verbiage and was going to put text in the video until I realized how many freaking times I did it. ----- Thanks for this.. I'll try to touch briefly on all of this in the next video
  6. Yeah, I caught that last night. I was doubting myself when I said it. I should have double checked. There's a few things I'll be correcting in the Pilot Seat 2 video.
  7. Start up is rendering now :) Thanks for the compliment!
  8. So, first I have no idea what you/DCS did.. but your tanker was definitely bugged. I deleted your aircraft and recreated it. It works now. Also, the first thing I noticed was the 20 waypoints lol. You don't have to do that. Set your desired aircraft down on the map Set desire speed and altitude Set WP1 at the desired location Select WP0 Advanced Waypoint Options Perform Task > Orbit>Race-Track> Desired Speed and altitude within aircraft limitations Vuala!! The aircraft will run a race-track orbit between its' starting location and WP1 until it runs out of fuel and has to RTB. I have included a new copy of your mission with the changes made so you can review it. Carrier and AAR practise.miz
  9. I would try something like this. I'll get you better details later tonight if no one has responded Once ---- Time is more 60 (provide time to join plane) ----Group Activate (AI) -----------Time is less 120 (So AI doesnt spawn if player is shot down) -----------Unit is Dead (Player aircraft) So, if the time the server has been active is longer than 60 seconds and no one has joined the player aircraft, the AI will spawn. Also, as I mentioned above, by doing less than 120, it won't spawn later if your wingman has been lost in combat. Then to get rid of it if a player joins the aircraft later on: Once ----- Unit is Alive (Player aircraft) -------Group Deactivate(AI) That should solve your problem. However, bare in mind that once the AI is Deactivated,
  10. So, first, I used to use TARGET as well. Honestly, it's a pain in the rear. It hasn't been updated in a long time. Every time, you unplug your devices your are changing their location in the registry which can honestly be less effective depending on who you talk to. I use keybinding software as well as DCS by default doesn't allow for many of the functions that TARGET provides. I recommend the following: The only thing this software doesn't do as of yet, is allow for single key toggling. i.e. one button that will do something different each time you press it. Press button 1 = air to ground mode Press button 1 = air to ground mode Press button 1 = Nav Mode Press button 1 = air to ground mode You get the idea.. However, it has a couple other much more useful functions. I highly recommend it over the DCS input for the Thrustmaster at least.
  11. Good Day, Everyone! In this video, we'll go over how to enter, edit, clear, and navigate waypoints using the ABRIS and the PVI 800 navigation system. I hope you enjoy!

  13. Reposting this as we had an issue with our website not sending applications!! If you have submitted an application and haven't received a response, please reach out to us again!! Thank you! Welcome to Virtual Carrier Air Group 13 for DCS! VCVW13 was formed in March of 2018, with the intent to deliver excellence, camaraderie, and as close to real world aerial practice as possible while enjoying the combat experience offered in DCS World. We are a 18 and over group. We strive to fly with the same precision and professionalism seen by modern combat pilots all over the world today. VCVW13 is currently made up of four squadrons: VMFA-286 Arrowheads (F/A-18C Hornet) VF-187 Raptors (F-14A/B Tomcat) VMA-238 Seadogs (AV8B N/A Harrier) HSM-67 Green Devils (UH-1 Huey) Flight usually take place around 8pm MST on most days of the week. This will change as membership grows. We are not a hardcore Mil SIM group. However, we do have a rank structure and expect you to follow the Air Groups policies and procedures. The command structure is primarily used for group administration and flight operations. This doesn’t mean you will find anyone barking orders here. Higher ranks indicate Administrators and squadron leaders. Promotion, is given through completing the recruit phase and then through service time, participation in both flight ops and development. Development can consist of policies and procedures, livery creation, missions, or any other method of group contribution. As, the group grows, we will introduce new squadrons. We are a very open minded group. Essentially, if you can get on and off from a carrier, we’ll consider adding it to the air wing. We also offer in depth and interactive training lessons for all members with both video and practical instruction to help you get the most out of your air frame of choice. For an example of how this training will go and what you can expect please follow this link: We have our own training server, TS3, Discord, and SRS!! If you have any questions feel free to PM Repth or PACMAN (OverKill) on the ED forums or you can Contact Us direct through the website. http://www.vcw13.com If you like to train hard, have fun, work as a team, and continuously learn then we may be the group for you! Are you Ready?
  14. Can these be used in MP missions? Can these be used in a SP mission and saved in the .miz.. exampe: I create a mission and send it to someone who doesn't have the mods installed?

  16. Not to be a spoon of vinegar in wine here... but this video shows you doing a whole bunch of things out of the sequence you initially criticized my video for.. Claiming I was teaching people completely incorrectly.. Don't get me wrong, it's DCS you're able to do that. However, isnt that exactly what I expressed my videos are about... Getting DCS pilots up in the air... Just lost all the credibility I had in your comments. Your way of operating the Ka-50 IN DCS WORLD is nowhere close to the correct format. However, you inadvertently just showed a bunch of new people a very fast and efficient way to start the aircraft. I'm not trying to criticize here. I found your video impressive. Just simply pointing out that you yourself don't follow the correct way to operate the aircraft which is exactly what you borderline berated my video for. Nicely done.
