Why stay with it if you're THAT miserable on DCS? Personally, any of the work they bring today I think will be great. They're a very small team for such a large platform. Bug fixes = stability = easier development and a better end user experience. Give them a little credit here lol! :)

Unfortunately, I don't have the log (troubleshooting fail... I know :) ). Just wondering if you have run into this at all? I'll post a log the next time it happens. I have even made a backup of the mapping so when it happens I just copy the back up over and it still fails. Could the device ID's be changing? If so is there a way to resolve this when it happens that you can think of? Suggestion - With sequences, I ran into a neat idea last night programming the Huey... Can you add the ability to switch profiles in the sequence command options. So just like I've done in the last video I posted above, It would be cool to have one button switch profiles to the CoPilot configuration while also arming and bringing down the gunsight. Just a thought :) No idea what that would take to accomplish, so if it's too much of a pain in the backside then disregard lol. Take care! - OverKill

Hello Everyone! The idea behind this video is to give anyone who is interested in DCS World from Eagle Dynamics or may have already started and may be struggling a bit to get their wings soaring. I hope this has some information that you will all find helpful. I have never done a video like this before so forgive me if it seems a little unstructured. Hello Everyone! I have started a series to help people who are interested in the mission editor but don't understand how to use it. It will be very large combat/training area that will be developed with a little bit of EVERYTHING by the time it's done. Hopefully, if all goes well by the end of the series you will feel more than comfortable building and designing your own missions or campaigns from the ground up. I hope you all enjoy this!!

Good Day, Devs and Team! So, I know everyone is complaining about the VR performance. However, after doing some testing I stumbled onto something really odd and unexpected. My configuration: i7-7700K RTX 2080Ti 32G DDR4 DCS Installation - NVME SSD Pimax 5k+ Following the update I am getting about 30fps regardless of location Prior to the update, I was running fairly high DCS graphics setting. Pretty much everything on high, 1.8 PD, shadows on high.. the works.. In attempt to increase my frame rate today, I was playing around with settings and was noticing NOTHING was having ANY impact on frame rate OR visual quality Turned PD down... no change Turned PD up... no change Shadows MSAA AA Textures Nothing was having ANY impact on performance or quality - good or bad. The only setting that I noticed actually changed with very minor performance impact was Terrain Textures. I'm thinking that all of the visual settings are not being applied when using VR. It's like it's hard coded to specific settings. I've noticed that MOST of the community is getting close to the same performance when in VR and thought this may be something you would want to look into. I could also be completely full of crap and there's just something wrong with my installation. :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to provide much of an impact... only gained about 5 frames. I think we're just gonna have to ride this one out guys.

DO NOT COPY over the existing MOD Repair DCS World Delete fxo and metashaders from Saved Games Delete contents from DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\misc\metacache\dcs ------ Repeat the above for all installed maps Install the New Mod from the link above Launch DCS :) Thank you Ty!!!

DEVELOPERS AND THE REST OF THE ED STAFF!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! What is ridiculous is the people who are not appreciative of the hard work and dedication you all are putting into this SIM. Each month the sim experience gets better and better. Sure, there are a few bugs that get missed here and there. However, when they're critical - you guys are on point and quickly get the resolution out to the community. ED/DCS World has given me the opportunity to create a fun YouTube channel with content that I enjoy and have an extreme interest in. The complexity and realism the sim provides is so awe inspiring when you stop to think that this is still only a small glimpse into the world of real aviators and military operators. Without your efforts, we'd still be on "the other guys simulators" which simply don't make par. I have said it before and I will say it again. You all are doing a fantastic job. I can't imagine what a pain in the ass some of these features are to develop and then listening to 'some people' complain that your efforts aren't good enough. That has to get hard to read/hear after awhile. I'm pretty sure I speak for the MAJORITY of the DCS World community when I say Thank You for all that you do! Keep up the great work and we'll continue to be patient and appreciative. We are all very excited about the features that we have been made aware of. Have a great week guys/gals!! - OverKill
