You can use just the Wagon Wheel in the HUD. Once you get a visual, slew it over the target in the HUD. Check with the Mav display you have a good lock, fire. -
Falcon 4 was a milestone in Sims some 10 years ago...

For A-10C final, they seemed to have tweaked the settings for senor axis. I can get good control with my CH Throttle. For Ka-50 I made my ministick send key presses and near the outer range, axis commands that are tuned. The only way I could get accurate control. Using a hat on my CH Throttle would repeat the command more than a keyboard and was useless. Maybe in the compatibility patch for Ka-50 it will be more like A-10C's fine control.

Turn off force feedback in the last page of the option to get trim to work. Hopefully that one is in the manual :)

After takeoff, you must set Net ID and Group both to 1. -
They are not picking sides lol. They had to chhose something and I am sure eventually a RUS Fighter will come. Hopefully next. MiG-29K for carrier ops!

And some crappy rear aspect heaters. Have to be in the sweet spot to use 'em with some talent. Simple aircraft modeling as well. It is a one man project, but he is getting lots of advise, even from ED. Like most projects of this sort, no actual date set. I read the whole thread with Goole Translate in Chrome :)

Would the acrobat guys not want a DCS fighter to do acrobatics in? Of course! Why put time into FC2 and delay that. That is the main argument. If FC2 compatibility with DCS could be done in a few weeks, then no problem. Win win situation. If however, FC compatibility delays DCS Fighter by months, why prolong the wait. -

GG likes to says things how they are, and not sugar coat them for your feelings. The truth shall set you free! Also, GG is a tester for ED and kindly donates his free time for the betterment of ED products, not an official rep. If you were to suggest something like an improvement for the mission editor, or multiplayer interface, then your suggestions might be heard. If, however, you are suggesting to change something from reality in terms of flight model, avionics, weapons, in DCS it is not going to happen. Not because ED won't listen to its customers, but because DCS is about being as close to reality as possible. How many times have I heard from other game developers, if it's a choice between reality and fun, we will choose fun. For DCS it is the opposite. It is a simulator first, again, in terms of the aircraft being modeled. The design ideas about every other aspect of the simulator besides the aircraft modelling itself are open to fun. The aircraft itself is about reality. -
Please give us Air to Air weapons.

To be blunt, what a bunch of sh*t you are posting. First off, you are practically demanding something. Then, you make negative comments. Good luck to you with an attitude like that trying to get something. Realism is the scope of DCS. ED have a LOT of things to do and must prioritize -like compatibility patches and bug fixes. Not, fantasy mods for fun. Also, I can give you many examples of ED listening to the customer base. FC2 and A-10C beta for instance. I would suggest you see if someone can mod into Ka-50 what you seek, and not demanding what your whim is be put in the sim. edit: If you don't like getting shotdown A2A, remove the A2A threat in the mission editor. The Ka-50 is not an A2A aircraft. -

520 kbps is not very much. 4-6 players depending on mission would be what I think you could host, if they are close by. That is the main issue you have and you cannot get around it. Make sure all clients connect 256/128 can help. Here is the speed of the 104th server
