I don't think you have enough intel to properly model this. ED would have made DCS:Midget if there was enough declassified info by now. If you insist making this mod I suggest that the midget pod features ECM with 10 second spool up so there is no midget blinking.

While not A-10C, I have seen all manners of self destruction in FC :) A missile comes off the rails and another player hits that missile close to your jet, bomb release too close to the ground, Kh-29T missiles launched under 10M etc.

No es nada! Have fun.

When inactive, mouse cross cursor is now hidden.
104th_Crunch replied to Quirkitized's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Small, but great change that the little mouse cursor disappears. I remember suggesting this. Thanks ED! Can't wait for the the updates and the next DCS module -

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
104th_Crunch replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Yes, of course AI is important, but there is the Multiplayer aspect. For that AI is most important for ground units only since every fighting air unit in a mission can be human. You only need to play FC2 to see how air to air tactics can realistically be employed in singleplayer and multiplayer. -

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
104th_Crunch replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
It was announced the next DCS module after A-10C will be a US fixed wing aircraft. Sorry rotorheads, get in line for the fighter jocks. You already had a DCS fix -
Paging Dr. Moa... Dr. Moa to the stats room please. I am sure they'll be back up soon, and any stats you accumulate in the meantime will be recorded.

NEW TO CH PRODUCTS - NEED HELP PLEASE
104th_Crunch replied to spn's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
No problem. As Kon says, they are nice to have and that looks an excellent deal. The link is where I bought my CH stuff from. Another idea is to use a hat for instrument slewing and use your mini stick on the throttle as rudder. -
Updated 02-28-2011 Uses all the default keys programmed into the CH devices. No need to make any adjustments in game. Includes 2 separate profiles as an option: Option 1: In order to accommodate TrackIR and in-game zoom having a dedicated hat, Data Management Target and Management share the same hat and trim has moved to another hat. Option 2: TrackIR and in-game zoom share the same hat as trim. All buttons on the Fighterstick match in-sim stick. Profiles made for CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals Includes Ghost’s CMS file Uses all default key settings of A-10C PDF and Excel file of controller layout In A-10C do the following: - Assign correct throttle, throttle mini-stick, joystick and rudder axis - Delete all other non CH joystick assignments Additional Notes: In CH Manager program ensure "Mapped Mode" is active. You can have your CH devices start in mapped mode every time you start Windows if you make a shortcut to "CMstart" in your Startup folder in your Start menu. The CMstart program can be found in your CH Manager folder. TrackIR Center and TrackIR Pause are set on the joystick hat to send joystick button presses. Go into the TrackIR software with the CH profile loaded in memory and assign the TrackIR Center and TrackIR Pause functions (press the joystick button when asked) in the TrackIR software to match. The Teamspeak Push To Talk button on the joystick is set to use the "Scroll Lock" key of the keyboard. Set up your Teamspeak up to match. "Gain and Response Setting" for joystick axes and mini stick axes are custom set in the CH Control Manager. Tune to your preference Download http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2swmvc6yo4jw081

http://www.ch-hangar.com/files/Docs/Dummies_Guide_III.pdf http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3124081/How_Do_I.html#Post3124081 Use the CH Manager to program Z and X keys (default rudder for ED sims) into one of your hats. -
Let's start a poll for what we want after the aircraft that follows the next aircraft after the next aircraft :) We know that a US fixed wing is next, so to me there is no question that for the community, an Eastern fixed wing fighter should follow next for proper dissimilar A2A combat.

My experience in FC2 is, no matter what damage you have, you can always extend gear. Perhaps you were too fast.

new controller and trim in Black Shark?
104th_Crunch replied to brainwashed's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
The difference for trim between a FFB stick and non-feedback stick for Ka-50: FFB ex: - You push stick forward to maintain a desired pitch while flying. You press trim and the stick will stay in that position allowing you to release pressure with your hand to make things more comfortable and less fatiguing. How well certain FFB sticks do this for Ka-50 I am not sure since I never owned one. Also, with a FFB stick it can be used for other sims like IL-2 and FSX and the stick will react to different events, cannon fire, stall buffet etc. Non FFB ex: In Ka-50 to simulate the above, you push stick forward to maintain a desired pitch while flying. You press trim, then release the stick to let it center. You now have a new center that is equal to where the stick was when you pressed trim. There is also another trim simulation option, but the above method is the default. Search the forums and youtube. You'll see lots of talk about this topic and video examples on youtube. -
Yes! Although hardly a challenge unless they are being properly defended. While FC may be missing all the systems of a particular jet, what is there is done well and mutiplayer is great. I would rather fly A-10A in FC online with other aircraft with different roles, than co-op A-10C only. Yes, you will crave for a fighter jet that is to DCS standards even more since playing A-10/Ka-50 though :)

"Building" killed red player "User"
104th_Crunch replied to mg2010's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
It is a bug with FC2 and BS that unfortunately remains. Must have been a hard one to squash unfortunately. You will get killed by a missile, but the message is displayed incorrectly. -
Great! Now I don't feel cheap by having my sim A-10 starting the mission already spooled! I see now it can be totally realistic :)
