  1. Thanks for that.
  2. I was looking over the images of the Harrier and only noticed it flying over the New Caucasus map, Normandy or Nevada. Does that mean the aircraft was only written for the new software engine? Could we be seeing the big update before the Harrier is released? I remember some issues with other A/C and compatibility between them. Maybe , the new A/C are only being built for 2.0 or 2.5......Thoughts????
  3. Show some early renders of the prototype. That's what I was suggesting. I have a perfect spot for it when it arrives................
  4. If I were VKB, I would tease the throttle very soon before they start to lose business to the other guys......
  5. I think the Logitech will work fine. You can even rotate it 45 degrees forward and mount it in a slot to be closer to the vectoring lever.
  6. Yeah, That stick and throttle are pushing 18 years with no issues. VKB MCG pro is coming ASAP (I need the brake lever) to replace the stick but I am considering a scratch built throttle next with 3 levers and a host of switches.
  7. rrohde, What is the cost difference between the base MCG grip and the KG12 grip? Just wondering what the final price for the MCG pro will be when it's available.
  8. Thanks Zeus. Can't wait to get her in the air. The lever below the throttle will be actuating the nozzles..As close as I could get to the harrier with the space available. Will add a 3d printed upper cover (gray curved part) with increment marks when I get the harrier module calibrated to the lever. Should look cool. As for the fan, the sim is in the garage and I'm in Southern California. Comes off in the winter...
  9. In preparation of the new module,I just scratch built this lever to make the flight transitions more realistic. It also works great with propeller pitch adjustments on the WWII birds. My "cockpit" is a mix of everything so I can use it with all the modules. Custom rudder pedals, gear lever and 20 custom toggle switches and buttons. Now, Just waiting on the VKB MCG Pro. Used a basic Thrustmaster usb stick for the pots and circuit board. Works great. Razbam, Is this good enough for an early access key to help with testing?
  10. Here's mine. Modeled after US aircraft but I fly everything in it..... Slowly getting there. Waiting for the VKB Pro and throttle. Larger monitor also coming soon...
  11. Just a suggestion.. I would recommend teasing the community with whats coming in the future. I for one am on the fence between the T-50 and VKB pro or go for the old Warthog. There are several others here watching the initial impressions of quality, customer support and upcoming products. Grab the new customers while you can . Keep up the great work..
  12. It would be great if someone would do a nice video review soon. Would like to see the details of the grip and overall construction...
  13. After watching some tutorials about navigation in multiplayer, I am still unable to find the airport codes to input for a flight plan. Is there a printable list out there? Thanks
  14. Thanks guys. Additional weapons was the issue....
  15. Like it says, cant get them to fire. (No issue with rockets) Can someone do a quick walk through or point me to one? Thanks...
  16. Yes, Looking forward to some North Africa scenarios out on the private airstrips to the west. Wish a server would spawn some WWII A/C out there....
  17. My guess (only a guess) is the gear retract animation was keyed with the left coming up later than the right. Not an actual pressure differential in the "virtual" system. As for increased drag on the left side, P factor is probably giving you most of that dynamic.....As a pilot with a good amount of tail-dragger time, the Spitfire is a bit foreign feeling to me at takeoff. Still, my favorite module.
  18. I'm all for a transport / refuel aircraft. Even if it were just "flaming cliffs level". Does every aircraft really need to be full fidelity? Still a ton of people still flying the F-15.
  19. Nice video! The sounds and feel are on par with the 21. Need to head over to Ikea to brush up on my Swedish................. DH
  20. I love the smell of Jet fuel in the morning...............
  21. I own almost every DCS module and what really stands out on the Mig 21 is the weathering and worn surfaces. Some is pronounced and some is very subtle. It really feels like an operational aircraft and it takes a true artist to accomplish that. I see much of the same goodness on the Viggen too. Nice job Leatherneck!
  22. Loving the double fly-through hangers at Tonopah. Going to be some serious antics going on here...I actually made the F5 even though the tail was hitting...... school
  23. On a basic install, where do I place the files? I know it is a simple question but there is no manual and I didn't want to experiment...Can someone give me a step by step? Not understanding the differences between the mod folder and main sound folder...
  24. I have added some skins before but never a sound mod. Looking to add the immersive Daimler Benz mod to my 109. Instructions are not labeled so I didn't want to do any "testing". Can someone show me where to place the files? I have seen numerous answers but was not successful. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=36&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=144&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC&set_filter=Filter THX
