Thanks a lot, especially the Harpia Publishing books look very promising.
Language doesn't matter too much, I prefer english titles, but also have french, dutch, spanish and polish books. Good books in german are very rare.
Hi everyone,
I created a couple missions for the Gazelle and would like to use this thread as place for your feedback, suggestions and criticism.
Operation Zora (Seek and destroy a pair of GRAD launchers in a city)

Operation Kingpin (Precision strike from sea)
http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1963357/
Operation Hitchhiker (Gazelle vs Buk while covering a CSAR operation)
http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1978035/
Operation Tidy Hill (SAMs, tanks and something else...) - Normandy map
https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3021955/
Operation Muzzlebrake (Silence the enemy artillery)
https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3180331/
All missions have been updated to DCS 2.5 standard.
I am happy to hear your feedback - were the missions to easy or maybe to hard? Were they nonsense? Any suggestions and criticism are welcome.
Cheers Don Rudi aka Carsten
Hi,
I am looking for some recommendations for good books on the MiG-21. Not the standard walk around booklets, more something with "MiG-21 in action" photos and color plates and maybe some recollections of real pilots?
Hi,
I am working in my first repaint and have a question concerning the rocketpods.
I would like to include a custom skin for the UB-16 and UB-32 rocketpods, but I am struggling to find the correct syntax to include them in the description.lua
The syntax as for the droptanks does not work, DCS still loads the standard pods.
Can anyone help with the correct way to address them in the description.lua?
Cheers
Carsten
The display says you are out of rockets.
Did you map the firing command to your joystick trigger? It is not the same button as the one used on the M variant to fire the HOT3 missiles.
I don't have any problems with lag in the cockpit either.
And just because the FM is different from the Huey and Mi-8, it doesn't make it weird. It may need some tweaking here and there, but keep in mind the Gazelle is less than half the weight of the Huey and less than one fifth the weight of the Mi-8.
