  1. Normandy 2.0 is by Ugra, do you have a source to share that Afghanistan is based on it?
  2. Looks to me they just listed their own modules, which is fair enough. Harrier, Tomcat, F-15E, etc all saw action there. I wouldn't interpret too much into it.
  3. @BIGNEWYwould you mind answering my question from a few pages back, if new assets are planned for the map? Currently all we have are two insurgent infantry units and with a little phantasy two types of technicals. By far not enough to build interesting missions. We'd need more insurgent and civilian assets and objects like the IEDs from the LLH Insurgent mod. Is there anything planned? (yes, I am aware of teased new US vehicles).
  4. Thanks! I read the FAQ twice and somehow managed to miss that line twice. I feared it would be more like a one year interval, what kept me from pre-ordering.
  5. Where does it say, remaining submaps will be released in 3 months interval?
  6. Will we get new assets for this map? All we have right now are two insurgent infantry units and maybe the two types of technicals (though wrongly clothed). Just the teased new US vehicles won't help to build missions, if we don't have opposing assets or ideally assets like the IEDs from the LLH insurgent pack.
  7. I am sorry, I brought up the discounts, as those are the only official news we got in a long time. And yes, you are very active answering questions, I highly value and appreciate that! My statement was about official news and sorry, there is basically nothing. OP mentioned his impression of there being silence and I share this impression. Nothing more, nothing less.
  8. I agree. Basically there is radio silence from ED's side, except for the "great news" aka "beta is dead, thanks to the streamlined process, be happy if you now get a patch every 6 weeks (which we all know means two months)". Else, the only "news" is of constant sales, which starts to worry several users, me included. Btw, constantly putting stuff on huge discounts is a bad timing, when asking for 3rd party campaign developers to come onboard - just saying. I am curious where this will lead to, but I am definitely not excited about the current developments. But I will be more than happy to be proven wrong.
  9. @scoobie thanks so much It was massive fun creating the mission and great to see people enjoying it
  10. As the title says, a "deselect all" button would be very helpful, when working with the loadout restrictions. Especially on modern planes it is quite time consuming to click each and every item to lock it. Thanks for considering.
  11. I hope you will like the mission, once you fly it
  12. This is the original track and I did not receive any damage. I removed everything unnecessary from the mission to specifically create this bug report track.
  13. I proudly present my new mission "Operation Cedar Spear" Back to the roots - my very first missions were for the Gazelle, time to create something again. Operation Cedar Spear will bring you to the early phase of the 1982 Civil War in Lebanon. You will fly an ambush in the mountainous terrain of Southern Lebanon in a Syrian SA342L, in an attempt to stop the enemy's advance over the Litani river. Local civilians spotted an enemy convoy and contacted the Syrian military. Syrian special forces plotted the advance and set up an ambush near a strategically important bridge over the Litani river near Nabative. Armed only with light weapons and some RPGs, the team, callsign “Jabali” [Mountain goat] called for additional fire power from the air. The low cloud cover will allow Syrian helicopters to operate in relative safety from enemy fighter jets. Task You will lead a Gazelle two ship formation out of a FARP near Beirut airport on a routine armed patrol along the coastal highway, waiting for further tasking by high command. High command will eventually establish contact between SPEAR flight and Jabali. Your task will be to take out the three heavy M60 main battle tanks in the convoy with HOT3 missiles. After successfully engaging the tanks, you will fly back to the FARP. Key features: * 100+ high quality voice overs * mission is customizeable to suite beginners and advanced players * alternative attack routes availabe (easy/hard) which will change the mission * option to hand over operating NADIR and FM Radio to the virtual copilot * detailed PDF manual included * custom kneeboard * multicrew capable Thanks to ZedTank for the inspiration! Enjoy! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3336250/
  14. As this was an important landmark during the various battles in Southern Lebanon, please add Beaufort Castle. Thanks for considering
  15. As the title says, the track/replay of the Huey is acting weird. it often recognizes a crash when there is none, resulting in stuttering airframe and broken Huey taking off again. Here is a video clip: Video proof Track File is attached. Thanks. CG Huey Track.trk
  16. Sorry for the late reply, somehow I don't receive notifications You can fly this as a coop mission with an added aircraft, as long as the player aircraft remains untouched, I.e. weaponry and group/unit name.
  17. @KeyserSoze62 thank you so much, this really means a lot to me. I am working on a mission for the Gazelle currently (maybe two). What'd be interesting to me, what makes this mission (Operation Horizon) better or more enjoyable than it's predecessors Operation Hellenic Dawn and Operation David's Trident? Horizon has much awesome feedback compared to Hellenic Dawn for instance, but just half the downloads, which leaves me a little clueless.
  18. Hi, the new linked triggerzones are a great feature, however they do not work with client or player aircraft, only with AI. For us mission makers having them available for the player as well, would open up a plethora of new possibilities.
  19. I can't say if it is realistic or not - I call it plausible and the feedback is very positive Operation Horizon or this one, based on/inspired by real events Operation David's Trident
  20. First of all, apologies for the late reply, somehow I did not receive a notification. And thanks so much for this awesome feedback, it means a lot to me. When I made the mission last summer, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that the whole setting would become realistic.
  21. Just took both skins for a ride, I like them Two notes, if I may: - you need to mirror/flip the national flag in the pilot patch file, as it is displayed backwards currently. - the area on the aar cover looks like a texture was taken to resemble an open receptacle. I have not seen any RDAF F-16 photos where it looks like this. Maybe you could reconsider and leave the cover in normal fuselage grey? Again, big thanks for releasing these
  22. Downloaded already, will testfly them first thing in the morning. Thanks for your work!
  23. Looking forward to these
