does every one know you have to enable the Anti-Aliasing Settings etc via the nvidea control panel etc and not in DCS? other wise i think its disabled so if you want smoother graphs or wondering why your getting 100fps lol this could be part of the reason :D

maybe the mission you are opening has been saved in arcade mode thus forcing arcade mode

maybe try arcade mode, u can fly in arcade with a xbox controller no prob's but if your wanting to play in Sim mode u need a stick

i had this problem when i bought the new silent hunter, replaced the DVD drive and had no more issues. DVD drives are cheap these days and we all know when hardware goes it does strange things. might even be time for a format could any one advise if the CD key on the box version works on the download version

I'm sure its just the process of an update or patch on current BS then bam u match the new version of DCS with out the new aircraft being flyable.

ha ha i love this thread. the trouble one can find them selves in for playing BS till the wee hours in the morning. the other day my girlfriend said from the other room "didn't we buy new printing cartridges the other month its empty all ready" " no i don't think so there ages old" as I'm trying to hide the 6,000 or so pages I've printed for BS lol

is the RAF replacing the tornado's with the euro fighter? or is it just a new jet to add to there air force? i like how the jaguar can hold the aim-9 on the top of the wings looks cool. I'm not really all that concerned about the next aircraft, if its DCS it will be a great add on that's the bottom line. :thumbup:

i think the warning still stands with people using greatly out dated equipment, but over all vista runs great even on a modest PC

good review only point id like to add is there is no prob with vista 64 on a new rig, but maybe on an older rig its death? i don't know but no issues from my end yet any comments?

cant remember but its like left alt + C or something similar to that. there appears to be 3 modes you can switch to

1. I bought a HP touchsmart IQ816 it has a viewable HD touch screen of 25.5" from Harvey Norman in Sydney, Australia 2. it was $3,800AUD at the time 3. i have vista 64 that came with the PC. i did speak to HP and they said that the new windows will support the touch system a lot better as u really need the HP software with VISTA unless some one knows other drivers i can use i find the HP touch screen was the best i could find at the time to look at + i needed a new PC to run BS :cry:. there also very accurate to use and your touching a glass screen not plastic. all round its a great PC :thumbup: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=40131

hey all Another die hard BS fan from down under Sydney Australia. been playing flight Sim's since flanker1. in stockbroking so i have far to much time to spend in the forums these days :cry: lol

if there's one more thing for immersion and that's a touch screen. I'm using a 25.5" HD touch screen and i tell u it doesn't get any better than that. no need for the mouse or short cut keys (i struggle to rememer most of them now lol ) but makes BS all that much better specialy on start ups

i like to hover behind a hill or some thing similar pop up and take out the heavy armor / air threats with the ATGM's then clean up the rest with the gun's. still not great at long range with the rockets but getting better. the gun pods are great value as well :D has any one tried the KH missile i love how the chopper gets moved around by the launching of this massive missile

yeah it looks pretty cool when your flying low to the ground around building and trees etc

if you drop to hard and fast u can flip the heli, a decent rate of max 3 meters per sec is ideal i find for landing.

most saitek issues are covered in the read me.
