So I was doing some sound testing and realized that there is no longer a sound for a plane when it goes into gate. Lets use the F15 as an example. The F15 uses the F15 sound files, so its safe to say that it is using the F15backengine.wav sounds. I tested it, and indeed it is using that sound. However, all modules use to use and share the planeafterburner.wav sound. This is no longer the case. Im assuming that this is because the distant aircraft sounds were added. However, these 'distant' sounds do NOT play until the aircraft has reached a certain speed. Because of this, when an F15 is taking off and goes gate there is no audible change from normal engine power to gate. Its the same sound as the planeafterburner.wav sound is no longer being used. This causes, imo, a loss of immersion. The mirage is the only one that still has any gate sounds on takeoff. Any way to get it back?

Im not really sure that your comment is constructive in any way shape or form as it pertains to SATAL. The teams did a great job this week. If you think you could do a better job, we welcome you to join the event. The issue with missiles disappearing away from the target in the map was unfortunate, but I believe its an issue with DCS at the moment.

Pretty big update today... You can now update my mod directly using OvGME. If we ELI5, this means that you can have OvGME query the repositories and it will let you know if one or more parts of my mod are out of date. If it is, you can simply hit download and it will download the most up-to-date version. If you do not already have OvGME I would highly suggest you get it, not only for the repository, but also for the ease at which you can turn mods on and off. Even if you already have JSGME, I would still highly suggest you switch. OvGME, to me, is a better piece of software that both runs better and quicker. How to setup OvGME to use the Moltar's Mod repositories: First off, we need to add the new repositories to OvGME so that it knows where to look for the mod files. There are 2 mirrors that you can use. One is in NA, the other is EU. NA MIRROR: http://51bisons.com/downloads/Release/moltars_mod_na.xml EU MIRROR: http://moltar.sakarias.eu/Release/moltars_mod_eu.xml Go to Mods > Repositories > Configure Type the URL for the location that is closest to you in the URL field and select Add. The location URL's are listed above. Hit close when done. Go to Mods > Repositories > Query If you do NOT already have all or parts of the mod, a grey arrow will appear. If you have it, but it is out of date, a red arrow pointing up will be present. If you have it and it is up-to-date a green check will be seen. You can either use CTRL+Click to select parts that you want to download followed by 'Download Selected' or you can download all of the parts regardless of the state by simply hitting 'Download All'. Once done your downloads will begin and once completed will show in the OvGME mod file window.

Yay for new versions! Changed a bit on the external sounds and added a smattering of other mods for cockpits, textures, etc. Feel free to check the Reddit posting to get a full list of what is included and who the contributing authors are. Link to new version! Moltar's Mod WIP v15.1 **Warning about this version if you play at lower volumes! There is an issue with an audible repeating engine sound. This sound can only be heard if you play at lower volumes. If you can hear this sound and its bothering you you can edit the below file to decrease its volume. I also seem to be having issues where when the my PC is on for awhile buttons on my Gunfighter get stuck on for some reason. Unplugging it and plugging it back in fixes it. Any idea why this is happening? Tried a couple different USB ports. When the buttons are stuck on they are unresponsive in game and in the vkbdevfg software until its replugged in.

Bringing up the liveries again. If you have a squad livery please send it to me. I really want everyone to be able to see eachother's liveries in game and on stream. Some of you are already familiar with my mod pack. I am taking that one step further and am putting together a community skin pack for DCS World. This pack will hopefully include liveries from all of the major virtual squadrons that fly in DCS along with, eventually, the best skins for each aircraft. I think a big part of what is missing in DCS is seeing everyone's personal squad liveries. Getting this into the sim, to me at least, will give a great boost to immersion. Getting this to become a reality means that everyone has to have the same skins. Getting this to happen and become a reality means that I need your help. If you are part of a squadron and you have a skin, please PM, post here, or post to the forum thread with the name of the squadron and a link to the liveries. If you have an awesome independent skin that you think should be included, and I mean it better be baller, feel free to post it. However, please give me the link to the original so that I can credit the author. I just updated firmware, but I must be missing something. Can anyone point me to where I can change to reg to increase the number of buttons that I can use? I dont see it anymore in the VKB Device Config. I used to have access to reg 11, but I cant see where to change that now and all of those buttons are grayed out. Im sure its something simple, but can't find it.
