  1. Giving away a UFC this weekend. Checkout the below link for details. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=215991
  2. To piggy back on what Jabbers posted earlier with his review of the Buddy-Fox A10C UFC, which if you have not seen yet I suggest you click the below link, I just thought Id throw out my brief opinion since I just opened mine that Bamse, the owner of Buddy-Fox, sent me. He told me when he sent me the button box that if I posted any information on it to be honest. If it sucks and is horrible let people know and that is exactly what I am doing. This thing is not horrible. It is far from it. This thing is amazing and beautifully well made. It is by far the best button box I have ever had the pleasure of using. At it's current price point it is a steal. It's one of those things that if you're at all serious about DCS you should own one. The engineering that went into it and throughout it's design is mind boggling. It is amazingly well thoughtout and the people that worked on it show that. I was just commenting to Bamse himself about how good the buttons feel and he told me that ex-Nokis engineers did the button design. After he said that I realised just how similar the buttons felt to my old, indestructible, Nokia brick phone. I was going to take a picture of the PCB under the button mat, but found out the mat is glued to it. No big deal. I did have Bamse send me some pictures of what the inside looks like and it's very tiddy and well done. All in all the Buddy-Fox UFC is an amazing piece of kit and if you're on the fence about ordering one, just do it. You will not regret it. The big announcment though is this weekend I will be doing a giveaway on the SATAL stream and showing an interview with the Buddy-Fox guys themselves. The giveaway will be an actual, brandnew, Buddy-Fox A10C UFC along with Gaugrease and Teflon rings. Only issue with the giveaway is that it will be for North America only. I will also be doing a brief live review of the UFC showing how it on camera so that you guys can ask questions and I can attempt to answer. The giveaway and interview will be taking place during the SATAL stream much like we have done with Heatblur in the past. You can watch on Twitch or Youtube. Links to the channels can be found below. Hope to see you there. https://www.youtube.com/c/dcsworldevents/live
  3. Those look 10x better. Nice work!
  4. It seems that way, but I hope Deka just takes a look at the whole thing and just binds it to the normal Su-27 engine sounds.
  5. Here are 2 videos. One shows the J-11A and the Su27 with modded Su-27 engine and gate sounds. IMO it sounds way closer to real life and is also more evident that the J-11A is not using the Su-27 sounds. Im not sure what sounds the J-11A is using, but it sounds much closer to a Su-25 than a Flanker. The second video is of DCS with unmodded sounds. You can still here a very large difference between the J-11A and the Su-27 mainly in the high pitched compressor sounds which are completely absent in the J-11A. Is it not possible to just have the J-11A use the Su-27 sounds completely since they have almost exactly the same engine?
  6. Man, Im lost in the sounders files. I had heard in the Release version of DCS that the J-11A was using the Su-27 sounds now. Is that the case? I can tell here in the beta that its not using the Su-27 sounds as I have them modded and the J-11A sounds nothing like it so I am assuming,I know assuming can be bad, that the J-11A is still on the Su-25 train.
  7. [FIXED] J-11A Sounds Can anyone point me in the direction for where the engine sounds for the J-11A are or is it still sharing the Su25 sounds? Its definitely not using the base Su27 sounds unless it has its own sound files. Just trying to get the location of the files so that I can fix it.
  8. Are there links to any of these mods specifically the mods that re-texture existing buildings?
  9. A pure client is an unmodified client. You can still mod certain aspects of the game and still maintain a pure client. Things you can modify include sounds, some cockpit textures, afterburners, and so on. You can modify other things as long as they are removed from the IC check by the server admin.
  10. All matches on The Merge that have been played so far have been updated with their replay of the stream and the tacviews. Simply click on the match and it will display all of the needed information. http://splashonegaming.com/merge/
  11. As the title says, one lucky winner will be leaving the stream with a Heatblur module of their choice. This can be any module that Heatblur offers including the Tomcat. The giveaway will be taking place this Saturday, June 30th at following the SATAL match between Lock-On Greece and IRIAF at 1300z. If you are unfamiliar with Zulu time click [here](http://zulutime.net/) to see what time it is locally. Participants will be notified of a keyword needed to enter the giveaway at some point during the live broadcast. This could happen at any time. You MUST have this keyword in order to enter. There is also a possibility for a member of Heatblur to be present to take questions about their upcoming module and/or things related to the F-14. You must have access to Twitch chat in order to enter the giveaway. Youtube chat will NOT work even though chat is being broadcast to both platforms simultaneously. For those that don't know, SATAL is a squadron league that pits the very best pilots in DCS World against one another. This league runs from February to October with 1 match a week. This weekends matchup is between Lock-On Greece vs IRIAF. If this is not something you have watched before I would highly recommend you check it out. If you want to see rules and what SATAL is, take a look at the ED forums thread. If you want to see stats for individuals and teams as well as schedules for past and upcoming matches check out Splash One Gaming's The Merge. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=196138 http://splashonegaming.com/merge/ This weekends, as well as all past and future streams, will be taking place on both Twitch and Youtube. Its your choice as to which platform you want to view on. However, as stated above, the giveaway will be taking place on Twitch only as the bot needed to make this giveaway work only works on Twitch. The stream links are below. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChfyq4FFuYuUcgPRTxBEZXA/live
  12. To clarify, you're looking for the actual external missile launch sound?
  13. When you ask for help you need to be more specific of what you want. Are you wanting the tracking growler sound, the engine sound, the launch sound... Which sound are you wanting?
  14. Great flying Gaanalma and all of 36. Your landing through the fog in round 2 was intense! Was a fantastic matchup!
  15. Feel it? The default DCS soundscape makes it so you cant feel anything. There is next to no audible change in mil to gate in the Hornet. Not to mention that most sounds lack most of the low frequency. Ill be working on a mod I think for the Hornet soon for the actual engine sounds of things.
  16. Fantastic! Ill give this a try tomorrow for the Hornet! Would be awesome if you broke these all down for the individual modules. Ill graciously await your 27/33 export, but I guess the 18 will suffice for now. Thank you again!
  17. We will be discussing a reschedule date and will let everyone know when it will be. Expect it to be a month or 2 out so that we can ensure that people have time to schedule and get time to fly.
  18. One more question. How do I disable the ingame MFCDs if I am using exports?
  19. New question. Is there a reason my UFC is not being exported? I have not changed anything for it and it is not appearing on the screen anywhere. The x/y coords make it so it should appear in a visible location, but it is not. Everything else works great!
  20. How do I get rid of the black columns that are on either side of the pit? I use a different size monitor and need to remove them. I cannot select them and therefore I cant delete them.
  21. Need some help, Gents. I cannot get Helios to work in multiplayer with the Su27. Nothing works. Does anyone know why this is or if it just flatout doesn't work? I know the SPO needs some special stuff, but none of the gauges work. Ive tried Capt. Zeen's November 2017 as its the most recent and the January 2016 profile as its the one that is supposedly supposed to be used with the Su27. The one from 2016 nothing works in multiplayer. The November 2017 profile things light up, but nothing from the jet is actually correct.
  22. Does this new profile include rewritten stuff for the already existing modules? I was just in a server using a su27 profile and most of the stuff no longer works. Was using the most recent profile. Maybe I need to use the 2016 one. Edit: Tried the 2016 profile and nothing works in multiplayer. If I use the November 2017 one stuff lights up and my RPM gauge works, but nothing else. Here's to hopping the profiles get a face lift that allow them to to work with all the new export restrictions etc. I miss using Helios and Capt. Zeen's profiles are all I run.
